I think "about 2 hours" is actually a lot for a shmup, at least more than I've spent on beating or almost beating other games of the genre. A single run through U.N. Squadron takes about 30~40 minutes with some levels (total of 10) lasting less than 2 minutes, I think. Steredenn is a looping game, but the main stages require about the same time, so getting a 2 hours game seems pretty good for me.
