Omg dude! Even I almost had a heart attack watching your video, while reminding myself to breath after about 60s into your game. Great game!
I know I'm late to the party, but I seriously hate Super Hexagon. My god. Super Hexagon. The music. The graphics. The gameplay. All so amazing. Why do I hate it? Because it's so damn addicting! Anyone else feel this way?
It's a solid game. To be perfectly honest though, I got tired of it and don't play it anymore. There's a handful of "attacks" the lines come at you with and while they come in a random order, being good at the game basically boils down to memorizing each of them.
Its even better than that... The hypnotic nature combined with all the incoming mazes and with its awesome music pumping behind it all makes a truly unique experience thats all about improving youself with each consecuent play session. And no iap at all. A masterpiece
I don't agree. It is not just memorizing - you must time your "spins" to perfection. To me this is harder. I always die when I overshoot or undershoot, not because I fail to follow the pattern. Anyone have the same problem as me?
I still play super hexagon whenever I get tired of my other games. I absolutely love it. Anyone else? Edit: Currently on a $0.99 sale! Pick it up now.
Didn't think I'd like a game with this simple basic concept, but I've enjoyed hours of this. Get it while its .99 during Hexagonal Awareness month.
Ironically this is the wrong place to post this, but... This game runs slick as butter on my iphone 4 and ipad 3, but... On my Note 2 (which has the equivalent CPU/GPU power to God) the game just isn't the same. There is an odd kind of 'lag' to the controls that makes the game unplayable. You are simply caught in sticky glue somehow no matter what. The port should have had more love poured into it. The framerate is butter, but... *sniff*
I'm addicted to this game again. Anyway, the #1 score is 153722867280912930 seconds. This equals 48 million centuries. Trust me, I calculated I guess someone hacked the game to get that score? Anyone know the real skill-based highest score?
