We've made sure that if you're used to them, they won't change for you at all. You'll just have some more space around and away from the buttons that register and there's a slide from Jump->Shoot move that'll allow you to jump & shoot at the same time!
Just want to say that thanks to this new update my previous high score of 25 went up to a whopping 60 after unlocking the Halfbot character. I think its magic... Also what is the SFMT mode? Cant tell the difference.
Great update valmbeer! Love the new controls and characters! Now that the controls are better i've gone from getting 15-17 crates on yhe construction yard to 28! And i've already unlocked vlambeer and halfbot! Though there is one i really want to unlock that shows at the title when u first start the game. It looks like a little robot with four legs and one eye, kinda reminds me of portal for some reason.
thank you. half the excitement is "what the heck will i get for that 30th crate???" im happy to see that were getting content. hopefully it continues. i personally need more than a high score game. i like achieving and unlocking things.

Overall update is fabulous. Finally can play on my iPad due to control swap option. I think it's weird that the buttons change, but not their labeling. I was confused by that at first, but that's a minor issue. Only problem I see is that sometimes I start jumping up and down for no apparent reason. As far as I can tell I'm not touching the jump button, but I guess I must be. I take it they made the touch area larger? I think I preferred that how it was before, but I suppose it's just a matter of getting use to it. I tried a little bit on my iPhone and I like how they shift the screen up slightly when you're at the bottom. Pretty good compromise. I got a new record for me on level one, played with touch controls on my iPad. Beating my previous best with iCade! Only up to 25 or something like that, though. LOL. Unlocked a new character that way. I also don't like the new icon on the iPad at all. Ugly. Fortunately I've still got the pretty pixely one on the iPhone.
No, it was that way before. At least it was on my iCade. It was always the top left two buttons. So I don't think it changed. Maybe you are thinking of some other game? I didn't have any problem with them there before.
Vlambeer, you have made a few steps in the right direction with the controls and the screen movement, but the hit box needs to be tweaked, because it is larger than the character. There is also a little glitch where you get stuck jumping to a platform that needs to be addressed. Last, if the enemy is at point blank range from you, the bullet will go through the enemy. Also, it would be nice to add extra modes with different objectives to elongate the replay value.
Re: iCade - we've always had both options: the top left two work and the bottom left two buttons work as well. We've been checking into the collision issue & we think we might have a possible solution there. It appears to be a bit more complex than just the hitbox being too big, but we'll be able to fix it given some time. Thanks for the feedback & the kind words, everyone.
