i've been playing the PC version. the hit box is definitely different. maybe the hit box code has a scaling factor that is optimized for one device and not others and that is why some notice the "issue" and others don't. this app is universal. idk.

every time i jump with the discgun on the PC version it fires. kind of fuks things up.

 

Hmm, yeah, I use that whenever I get minigun too

 

Yup, very useful! Great for clearing out a bunch of baddies.

 

That minigun trick. I think it works whether you are against a wall or not, or at least I seem to recall slowly floating down wherever I am.

Also, after getting better at playing this on my iPhone, I tried again on my iPad and... really, why the heck did they reverse the buttons??? It's impossible to get use to. Is there any word on them switching them, or giving us the option to switch them? I have a feeling I'd play better on the iPad, but not with that button order.

 

Yes, the button reversal option should be in the first update.

Yes, adjustable controls are said to be in the submitted update.

As for the hit box issue, I'm not seeing it. On the iPhone 4s Super Crate Box plays and looks fantastic, love it!

 

I don't have an issues with the hit boxes either. It seems right. iPhone 4 and iPad 2 (iCade). Definitely glad to hear we'll be able to adjust the controls.

 

Any way we can get the option to turn this of in the future?? I like the way it is no where I can jump as high as I want and still shoot. I really don't like it when games decide how high I want to jump because they usually are wrong.

 

I think what it means is that somehow the iPhone camera will shift so that your fingers are not obscuring the crates - and not something about it automatically deciding the height of your jump.

 

Either way options to turn features on or off and always good, IMO.

Downloading now! Can't wait to try it out with the new update. Great choice on the new icon btw. I thought the original was kind of bland.
