We're still awaiting Apple's judgement of the 5,000,000 crates update, which is taking quite a bit longer than we expected. (We're almost at 20,000,000 crates collected already. Wow!) In the update, the buttons will have improved hitboxes, if you slide from Jump->Shoot it'll do a jump+shoot and the iPhone will try and shift the screen better to avoid having crates under your fingers. There's the ability to select a character, five new unlockable characters, some optimisations to collision, some bugfixes & the ability to switch around the A&B buttons. We almost made the top #25 apps in the USA and in many countries in the world & for an iOS debut, that's pretty overwhelming. We want to thank you so much for all your support, feedback and interest! This is a terrible idea. What's the point of collecting weapons with different strengths/weaknesses if you can just stomp on them? It isn't Super Mario, it's Super Crate Box. The update sounds great. I still would like to see more stat data in a future update, particularly averages to reflect long-term progress. Also, replays would be excellent.
Can't wait! : ) And +1 for more comprehensive stat tracking. Even just tracking your average number of crates per game and plotting it on a graph would double the replay value of this already fantastic game.
Omg I'm so happy! Just unlocked the Ninja with an Ambush score of 24 in Construction Yard! I also uploaded that run if any of you are interested
Sadly I got bored pretty quickly. And a annoying "bug" is the colision with enemies, sometimes they kill you without even touching you and sometimes you shoot standing by an enemy and the bullet just pass through him

Finally unlocked Ambush Mode.... My Highscores stand as follow: Normal: 58 Real F*cking Hard: 20 Ambush: 13... got killed by a Moonwalking Big Monster.... hilarious, but pissed me off XD
The Official Badge means you've unlocked SFMT mode with all weapons unlocked. It's much easier to unlock SFMT once you've unlocked a few weapons but it's not "official" until you do it with all the weapons
Interesting minigun trick: Hold down the fire button while your back faces a wall in mid-air, and you sorta stick to the wall and slide down real slow. Could it be useful? Maybe. I haven't actually used it practically yet
Very useful. You can use it to clear out 2 rows at once, as well as a sort-of-safe spot because grounded enemies can't touch you for a short time.
just played on my PC again... after so much time... using a PS2 and a PS3 controller.... i have better scores on my iPod...... WTF oh and i used the wall hug with the minigun... i think you stay up more time on PC than on ios... might me be though.... Disc Gun works EXACTLY on iOS as it does on PC... so hitting a big monster with a discn while near a wall, only hits him once... i read somehwere here that it was different on pc?... Anyways if my scores are better on ipod... Normal Score on ipod: 58 vs Normal Score on PC: 44.... it means that this game's controls are very damn good... i still don't understand about people saying they're terrible... sure there's no Jump+Shoot but... 58(iOS) vs 44(pc)...
