Most annoying thing in this game: floating skulls, especially on smft mode. They always manage to get you right where they want you. They either surround you and have the other dudes get you. Or they catch you mid-jump. They're really preventing me from getting Ambush mode in Rocket Silo. And I really want that Ninja too!
This game gets me really frustated which is good because that's when i am really into it and enjoying it I am not that good though 48 on construction yard, 42 on rocket silo and 23 in the moon temple.
Runs really well on iOS. Now if only I could get to the level of suckiness I'm at on PC... Which is still not very good.
My ONE AND ONLY problem with this game. I play on my iPhone on breaks at work, and my iPad at home so the flip flopped buttons messes with my muscle memory. Determined, I tried to "learn" the iPad controls to see if they are like that for a reason and not by some mistake considering how much work the devs apparently put into the touch control scheme. My conclusion is this, the fire button is in a little more natural position given the size of the black space between the edge of the iPad and the touch screen. Additionally, the jump button's offset makes it relatively intuitive to slide your finger upwards to fire mid jump without lifting your finger. At the very least, I'd like to see a button swap feature in the options, and for gods sake iCloud save sync (why is this not defacto with every universal app?).
Really loving the game. I think these things would be cool to have in an update: New Character: I think Vlambeer can pull of a Cthulhu of some sorts. Maybe it could be called Cthrulhu or something and be semi-transparent. That would be hilarious. New Enemy: An enemy that looks like a crate (but has some subtle elements that set it apart) This would make the game a whole lot harder so maybe it shouldn't appear in the Normal mode. Also, instead of being a brand new enemy, it could just be another stage of an enemy. For example, if a red floating skull goes into the pit it could turn back into a white floating skull but could randomly turn into a crate sometime. New Game mode: Maybe there could be a game mode similar to the "kill confirmed" mode in Call of Duty. Instead of collecting crates you would have to collect a coin that drops from the dead enemies in order to confirm the kill. Just a few suggestions. Looking forward to the big update!
I just checked out Vlambeer's twitter, and there are TONS of great changes coming. The two I'm most excited about that they mentioned is iCloud sync between devices and (possible) Joypad support.
Guys, help me out here. I can't break 25 no matter what I do. What the heck am I doing wrong? I can't figure this out! What's some good strategy to use? It's like I'll be doing ok, then bam a HUGE wave of enemies shows up. Ugh. Still fun, but I'm at a serious road block. Help me out, please?!?!?
Controls are inverted on iPad Yeah, now that I have played on my iPhone I can't play on the iPad. I'm constantly pressing the wrong button. This is driving me crazy. How could they have let such a HUGE MISTAKE slip. I can't believe it. Otherwise, the game is great.
Wahoo! 26! Construction, Normal Mode. God D*mn this game is fun. I'm learning that there is no real "trick" to success. It's simply managing the strengths of every weapon COMPARED to the enemy presence in the level. I'll admit it's damn fun clearing the level with a couple well placed Rockets or Grenades! Vlambeer really has gem here, wow.
My tip is keep your cool. Don't panic, and whenever you get mad at the game, take a break. It doesn't help to keep playing the game whenever you're mad. And whenever you do bad, keep positive thoughts. Don't think "I suck l, not playing this game ever again!" Just stay calm with positive thoughts.
Woot! lol When you get a good weapon (revolver, Lazer..) stop and clear out any big waves of enemies or any reds, then go on a crate spree until there are too many enemies again or until you get another good weapon. Luck plays a big role too
my highscore on construction yard is like 43, SFMT is like 8 xD what i do is concentrate on killing skulls and anything that's in my way over to the crate... i just ignore everything... unless thare are 4-5 reds, then i start killing... usually when i get something like the revolver, laser gun or mines... I would say Disc Gun but I usually get carried away and end up sliced in 2 xD
