Hm. That was odd. I was hitting 114 boxes or so and on the first stage. Playing on my 4S on 5.0.1. My game just instantly ended and it gave me my high score. Weak.
I freaken love the crap outta this game~! I've logged in at least 6 1/2 hours not kidding! school then home while my family was watching tv i just couldnt pull my self away! It's a crime how addicitive this game is best .99$ spent of my life
255 crates on construction yard (normal) before I died. I died because I stopped paying attention for a couple seconds. My DISTRACTION: Wondering if my scores would even get posted because I hadn't signed in yet. WOOPS. Controls seem fine. No iCade, just using the stock controls. I'm more used to jumping+shooting now, but it's a definite hand strain. I kind of wish there was an option where "tap jump = full height jump", maybe? Not sure if that wouldn't mess something up, though. 163 on rocket silo. Like 60 on moon temple I think, I can't figure that map out.
Finally got a chance to play on the iPad, controls are horrible, especially coming from the iPhone....why are the a nd b buttons flipped on the iPad? And why dear god did you diagonally off set them? I find myself wondering why I'm playing and complaining when typically a game this deficient would be long deleted... I think because underneath it had great potential as a fast paced one more try skill based platformer..however therein lies the inherent flaw in this game, it ruthlessly demands perfection to excel, one millesecond off, one millimeter off and your done ......., yet the controls are so imprecise that the latent frustration involved is maddeningly inane...
Wow I'm terrible at this. Haven't even gotten 10 in the construction level yet . Any tips from some of you pros out there?
I hope this isn't keeping you from making the Mage Gauntlet spinoff... But on a more serious note, how in the world are you getting such high scores, my highest is 11 on construction yard.
Me too! MK is good, but SCB seems to focus on the bare fun of the hectic action. I can see how people could love each game. Like I said earlier, there is room in the market for both games. But yeah SCB is totally freaking awesome, I'm loving this game for all the stuff it isn't. For what it does have, it's flawless (within reason).
Totall agree with you! MK is good at what it does (character upgrading, nice graphics and great skills) and SCB is good at focusing on the crazy action and fun of the game!
Me three! Actually, I had pretty much given up on SCB this morning -- I had very similar feelings as others in that I couldn't understand all of the hype surrounding this game. Plus I found it to be damn hard. However, I gave it one more chance this afternoon, and I don't know but something just clicked. And now I absolutely love the game and its frantic pace. Maybe I finally realized how to play and manage monsters and guns. I went from not being able to match (or beat) my high score of 11 to getting a 20 and then a new high of 38 on Construction Yard! So far I've been happy with the controls, but I do feel like the collision detection is too strict at times. I swear there are times where a phantom collision kills me. Dunno, maybe it is just the fast pace that I miss something.
I'm finally making progress too. High score of 17, Comstruction Yard. Lol, I suck but damn it's FUN. Vlambeer ROCKS!
Wow... killing is so easy in the Temple area with the Minigun. Just hold forward while firing after you find a nice spot, and no one's going to get you. :/
This game is so ADDICTIVE! And its BLOODY HARD!!! My kinda game I swear all other platformers will seem like a cakewalk after a month of this. You guys should make a recruitment ad. "Join us to collect insane amount of CRATES! Do your part NOW!!"
Yeah guys, any help? My high score is 21 Construction Yard, Normal. I'm loving the action and having great fun, just wish I was better! What's the "trick" to getting higher scores? Dumb question: What does "SFMT" stand for?
Just got 43 on Construction Yard normal. EDIT: Never Mind. I spent too much time trying to get the SMFT mode and I didn't notice that the try again window tells you how many to get.
