Controls Needs a regular controls option, "if it ain't broke", my argument is Devs are constantly trying to reinvent the wheel, we as gamers grew up on Platformers , we instinctively know how the basics of Platforming. Left/Right Jump..buttons , or even MFi controller support would make this game more enjoyable to play..instead it's a learning curve that only leads most gamers to frustration & deletion after a few attempts.
I finished the game and the controls worked fine for me. And I'm def not the greatest gamer in the world.
Wait until the ice world, level 4.7 drove me super mad and I had to restart more than 30 times the same area.
Nearly finished the game and I have to say this is the best platformer on IOS, I love it so much that I feel it's too short. Dev, I hope you'll make a number 2!
Maybe by getting all the bells? I couldn't get them all but already finished the game. By the way there isn't a proper ending? After defeating the last boss, nothing happened... that was a bit sad.
I just want to chime in to say that I do really like the controls in this game. I love traditional games with a gamepad setup but on a touch device I find that sort of arrangement unpleasant to use on the screen. I found the input method for this game a lot more intuitive and comfortable for the touch screen, and building the game around the limitations of that input made for some clever challenges.
Super Cat Tales It's cute, fresh and user friendly interface. And..A new project is underway based on the same fantasy world and a game engine. https://twitter.com/neutronized/status/890311199971266560 https://twitter.com/Neutronized/status/883364360277643265 Good news!
The game that I enjoy the most lately. I love the OST also. You can listen to it on the developer's homepage. https://neutronized.bandcamp.com/album/super-cat-bros-ost
Im the opposite. If this had traditional platforming controls I would love it. Got tons of platformers and they work well on iOS. Leos Fortune and many others for example Love the graphics just not keen on the runner-ish controls
I think it is characteristic of game engines used by developers. I like them both. I think they are good for mobile.
