i have also this version (got when it was free): http://appshopper.com/games/super-bros Pixel World!!! WOW... and before this, there was another one, if i remember well.
If any customer has bought any previous versions, please send me a PM and i'll send you a promo code for the new one. A promo code for Super Bros! has been sent to the following users: Gwarmaxx Collin sobriquet Repulsa Snooptalian
What is the point of redeeming a promo code for an app that will get abandoned and pulled the next time you make a change to it, or just feel like it. Or whatever it is that keeps motivating you to pull the app instead of updating it? You've established a pattern with this game that has been spotted and called out. If customer goodwill were a bucket of water, you've kicked it over and stomped it flat at this point. Giving out promo codes for your latest iteration of the same game will not fix that flat bucket. You should consider making something unique, rather than trying to ride on Super Mario Bros coat tails. Copying an existing game is a useful thing to do to learn how to make that type of game, but you don't then go on to try to sell it as your own creation under different versions of the copied game's name. That's more shady than midnight.
The game is terrible. You should be banned from the App Store. You are no different from a pick pocket on the street. The fact is you stole two bucks from my six year old. The two times he has bought your horrible Mario rip off it hasn't worked. Buggy, crashes total mess. My kid was total zen, he thought he would be patient and you would update, you didn't. You pulled it. Now I found out he bought it again. He thinks you must have fixed it so he convinced me that he would love it. He threw his iPad in anger. You suck. Your game sucks. Just go away.
Is this Dev for real? Give the game a chance? Why? It looks like a game that was made when the App Store first came out. You looking for a quick cash grab. We aren't stupid.
File for a refund for both games. Explain the issue. As long as you haven't abused the refund process you should get your money back in 1-3 days. Google App Store refund or something along those lines for a walkthrough.
Not only that but those pixel art images in the background are clearly not created for the game. I can't find the original artist but that forest one is all over the internet: https://imgur.com/gallery/SELjK
