Damn looking at this thread makes me mad. How does crap like this happen? As someone said earlier Apple doesn't approve Binding of Isaac then this comes thorough? It's just sad.

The Hot Games list consists of the games with the most (daily?) comments? If that is the case are there any other factors too? After all there are probably still some older games who get a bunch of comments every day. On the other hand I sometimes wondered why an 8 week old game still appeared on the hot games list.

Guess I've to search TA more closely for the new releases in the future instead of just relying on the games on the right side. When gamer forum attention is the sole reason then it's no wonder I hardly ever find any (Point and Click) Adventures, Room Escape games etc there (after all, most people prefer genres with more action).

Yeah, the "hot games" are the ones being commented on frequently and semi-currently. That's why usually only some the best and worst games pop up on there, which is why, in cases like this one, it was a bummer to find out that this was one of the worst

Oh I have no clue how the Hot Games algorithm works, but I know this clearly flew to the top just by our comments. I know the algorithm is one of the main reasons I started following TA years ago, because it really does generate hype for some great indie games.

BUT, I'm glad that by knowing it's a terrible game/dev, I know to avoid it at all costs. Only other way would have been to fall in the trap (like some in this thread have and regret).

Word. Crap like this is contributing to the mobile gaming market being held so far back behind its true potential

Nice job guys, thank you for "burring" my game without even played it! For the people who state that purchased it before, or had 2 pervious versions etc, all i can say is see that what it looks the same is not the same. You can't state that "the game is the same as previous versions" for a product that has the same look. Additionally, you can try the new version and you have the right to ask for a refund from Apple if don't like it.
Finally, it would be great to have some feedback about the game from people that really spent time on this.

    Thank you.

If each iteration of the game is so different, why do you keep using basically the same name on each one and why do you keep pulling the old versions from the App Store when you could do an update? Pulling the games from the App Store is what has caused people to slam your games and not trust your intentions. What is your reason for pulling the older versions from the store instead of updating them?

By the way I did play and comment on the last version you released, two weeks ago. You know, the one you pulled from the App Store so you could release this one.

Just looked at all of this developers apps on the iPhone App Store. Most of them have 1 star ratings and say stuff like the games are unplayable or the apps don't do what they're advertised to do. Most of them do, however, have updates so he obviously knows that he can update games/apps without pulling them and re-releasing them. The question is, why would you do this with this game? Also, I'm curious as to how many games/apps he's used this tactic on.

I have pulled the game from the App Store because it had to be pulled.

Anyone of you that bought the previous version of the game can send me a PM to send you a promo code for the new version.

It had to be pulled? What is the reason it had to be pulled? Did Apple make you pull it? That doesn't seem likely since they let you release a newer version. Also, they would pull it themselves if they had a problem with it. So why are you pulling your games?

Dudes not gonna lie but i think that this dev might just be trying to make money because if he is from Greece as his name seems to imply this guy might be going through the hardest time right now considering Greece is in the economic toilet. Still not right to make apps that dont work or pull them after two weeks only to re-up them, although since he's trying to make things right with previous customers I guess thats good.

If I were to just guess, he pulls it to stay a step ahead of Nintendo's lawyers.

    But that's just a guess.

When I made the mistake of buying it, it was called "The Super Bro!"

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/okdktgy0084stt8/The_super_bro.jpeg?dl=0

Now it's "Super Bros!" And the icon has lost the exclamation mark.

What will it be next? Any bets? "Super Duper Bros!"?
