It's a little annoying when you have to tap the screen instead of being able to use the controller for everything... but a lot of other games do it and the fighting part is the important bit!
Yea if we can we'll try support as much of the menu UI as possible, it'll be much easier for Dungeon Time/Space Time as im designing them with Mfi/TV in mind now Also, there's a real good chance I will be putting a character/stage from 'Crossy Road' into Super Boys to add to my dream of having more crossovers. Edit: Oh I forgot to mention game centre it was asked a couple times - it's going to be a too tough to implement with our current workload we're operating with 1.5 people atm
Hey, I was wondering if it was possible to create an option to arrange our characters in the order we want them when we go to TEAM menu. I would like to be able to search with "filters" ex.: only techs or only beasts. I would suggest either creating a menu from scratch displaying a vertical list rather than horizontal with the option to drag around the characters (like rearranging iTunes playlist music tracks in the order you want). Or have an option to move the "cards" of the characters. I know you're working on 2 other games at the moment, but in the eventuality of an update on Super Boys this change would be welcome (as well as some bug fixes). I believe it would greatly improve the quality of life when selecting team. Moreover this suggestion was already mentionned by someone else if I recall. So I'm not the only one thinking this. Just working on 1 other game in the early stages Super Boys update is being planned right now, so I'll be looking through the forums for player feedback. The team selection is in need of some kind of sort function I wasn't expecting people to really have 40-50 characters but seems like a lot of players have that (maybe because its too tedious to eat people, selling option?) I would suggest removing the -1 and +1 fan options and instead putting the -10 and +10 in replacement of those buttons. And instead of the current -10 and +10 have -100 and +100. This will be much easier for the players always betting 200 to do it without having to click 20 times on the "+10" button. Moreover, I doubt anyone has under 10 fans or would be willing to bet "odd" amounts of fan. In any case, betting 100 would make the game really easier. Suggestion 2: I would love to see more Weekly Achievements in the Who's Next mode. Possible additions: 20 gems for 150 wins ; 10 gems for 300 fights ; 50 gems for players that can achieve 10 "perfect KOs". Suggestion 3: I would like to see if possible, a list of players that played against my team in "Who's Next" and the result they got (win or lose). I would like to be able to click "revenge" if I see a fight my team lose, and this option would start a fight between their team and my team (with me actually fighting this time instead of AI). Suggestion 4: I would like to see the ability to classify leaderboards by players names / rating / fans as well as more extensive statistics. Maybe also display top 100 instead of top 50? Suggestion 5: I would like for there to be an option to view the past week's leaderboards. So everyone could see what ranking I achieved and maybe compare players between weeks (*oh this one has been improving*). Suggestion 6: Online mode : I would like for there to be an option in the main menu to view how much online rooms actually exist. Or a push notification (that could be turned on/off) that notified players whenever fighting room is created. I've never found players online yet except once and it was on USA server, not UK one. :/ Suggestion 7: Posted this earlier, so you've already read it : basically make the characters be sortable / moveable in the 'my team' menu if possible. List of bugs Gold "friend" bug Every time I open the app I get a message in the mailbox that says "Friend Bonus" and has a "claim" button. When I click it says "1 friends rent. Get 100 coins". I was wondering what this is? How do I get friends in the game? Fans x2 bug : In the Who's Next mode, the x2 fan bonus that you can get when turning the wheel never applies. I've counted the number of fans I gained after a fight betting 200 fans and another fight betting 200 fans WITH the x2 bonus and there was no difference. Please make the fans gained for that particular fight actually double. Leaderboard hack/bug/exploit : PLATINUM, the current leaderboard #1 on the Who's Next mode has 231,384 fans as I currently type this. This is surely a bug because the leaderboards reset every week (at Sunday midnight) and this player had the same number of fans last week (~230,000). I remember because I ended up #3 of last week and I was intensely watching that leaderboard. My theory : his fan number was not reset by the system, causing him to still have ~230,000 fans this week. Note that the leaderboard were reset 20 hours ago : it is humanely not possible to have 230,000 fans in this short time. Moreover, I saw he had as much fans when the board was just one hour after the reset (he was at ~230,000 as well then). So I think there was a bug. My theory is also backed by the stats of other players: the #2 has 'only' ~39,000 fans as of right now, and #3 is at ~26,000. It is a bug for sure. Please fix to restore competition. "keep item" bug in Who's Next mode : I detailed this bug in an earlier post but this is a reminder that when choosing to 'keep' an item from the Who's Next mode for 1 gem the gem is not consumed and the item won't be kept. And the option becomes unclickable. Character Skill bug : Sometimes the amount of times a skill is used needed to upgrade skill in character upgrade menu will not increase even if skill is used in combat. Sometimes when I log back on suddenly the bar is full and I can upgrade said skill. So inconsistency with that. Sometimes upgrade fails as well even though skill shows as upgradeable. Annoying crashes in Who's Next mode : The game will crash every now and then (usually ever 7-8 fights). Usually the crash happens in the part where you won and get results of fan gains, coin gains etc... Or it happens around wheel turning. its very annoying.
No idea if this has already been said, but didnt see it in the last pages. When eating another character, you get extra slots for attack, defense etc when you level your character up. But I cant use those. Says "failed to upgrade stats" when trying to upgrade it. Tried with 1 star characters and 4 star characters. And that makes it hard to finish the game as one of the levels on stage 18 requires a 1 star character in a free rumble. Yet with only 9 upgrades I dont stand a chance. Made the character eat others, trained it, but still impossible to upgrade. Stuck now. Anyone else have this problem?
Yeah we found that issue, the server doesn't know that you've raised the max level of a character so it won't let you raise beyond the current cap. I just need to get some of Jonathans time to help fix it
Ok thats a great list, i'll take a lot of this to our update page that we use to collaborate on the game.. we'll be back together planning stuff next week (kwok was in the uk for 2 weeks..) On the bug list, you get that 'friend bonus' when another player picked your character with 'rent-a-friend' to help their team out - so it's like a small cut of the 2k gold they paid to borrow your bearwolf I took a look at the leaderboard and restored competition, sorry about that I need to set an alarm to check every monday my time as well I can easily fix bugs there (top guy is 75k now) Who's next will be pretty competitive in the next update in a fairer way I noted the keep item/upgrade stats bug on our update list Quite a few of the suggestions you mentioned you'll notice them in that update as well, thanks man - really appreciate your time in the game and helping us on here!!

Thanks, really appreciated that you restored the competition on leaderboard ! I didn't know rent-a-friend worked like that but its awesome. I am really impatient now for the update ! Have you guys got a date in mind? (no need to rush it, I am just innocently asking). Edit : I may have an idea of what caused the leaderboard bug. I think it could maybe be because the guy did a fight DURING the time the leaderboard was reset (so he was in a fight from 23:59:30 to 00:00:30) and therefore when his fans got added the game could've thought the fans were still there. Since the guy probably bet 200 fans it may have caused a bug because when the leaderboards are reset you start with 0 fans. These are my theories for the bug. I can try and re-create it on Sunday to see if this is really the cause of it.
By the way I finished the game yesterday ! The last fight is pretty hard, I got lucky in the end since I only had 1 character which was 1 star (Gillius) to finish him off. The Tower was really great fun and I'll be re-doing some stages to level up my newly acquired Old Ben and Prophet. Still missing Raven, Nameless and Mr.Host but I'm sure I'll get them soon (once I stop getting Romario like 5 times in a row ) For those struggling I successfully completed the last 5 tower levels (so 25 stages) entirely with: Envoy of Death (4*) lvl 34 Bearwolf (4*) lvl 22 Gillius (1*) lvl 40 [GOLD] If you have more than 9* available for your team you can use more characters as well. Funnily enough I heard that a lot of players struggled on the stage where you have to beat Nameless/Envoy/LeRatte only with 1 character at a time but I was able to do it the first time around. The key is to 'chain kill' the guy by not letting him room to attack for one moment (always knocking him down etc..). Envoy if really good at that with the spin and Bearwolf can do Attack / Attack / A+B for that as well.
Congrats on beating the tower, on my current account I'm still stuck at Mr Host! So glad that Gillius is in your campaign winning team, he was one of the characters we were concerned about being least popular or weak in his tier but evidently not. @christouphie - Nice playing you in the FFA match, always nice to get beaten at my own games (thats why our games are a bit hard). While we're talking about live, just wondered if people noticed how the FFA points system worked or were confused? Its basically a 9 rounds match, the first to die gets 0 points, the next to die gets 1 point, the third to die gets 2 points and so on, the last man standing gets 7 points, and the process repeats in the next round until the nine rounds are up.
Thanks Tempestyze. Was a great tip. Gillius did the job on that free for all 1 star character level. Tries several others but didnt stand a chance. After that level I could finally complete all the stages.

I have some remarks /question to make about the game if you could answer them S-Mario, 1) Is there any other character than LeRatte that can do the hidden ability (B + gesture attack + A) [for LeRatte is teleports him a short distance]. I have tried to do it on others and none other work (at least none that do a unique ability) 2) This may be confidential, but does the drop rate for gems vary for every level of the tower? What is the drop rate for bosses approximately? From fights i estimate it to be 20%. But I have gotten more from some bosses (Calculator) than others (Karnivore). 3) I couldn't help notice the amount of 4 star characters that are Undead. Amongst 4 star characters there are "only" : -2 "Magicians" (Damian, Prophet) -2 "Tech" (Crushinator, Calculator) -1 "Toon" (Romario) -1 "Warrior" (Mister Host) -3 "Beasts" (Wormulon, Bearwolf, Azuron) and... -5 "Undead" (LeRatte, Envoy of Death, Nameless, Raven, Globulus) I think you could "transform" one undead into a warrior (LeRatte could work without losing his identity) And maybe another one into a toon, so there would be at least 2 of each 'class'. For toon maybe Raven could work but then he would lose his identity of the guy that came back from the dead... The issue is mostly with warriors though. You could potentially have a team of 3 four-star "undead" that could crush a team of 1 four-star Warrior because of the way weaknesses work. I saw somewhere on this thread you were planning on introducing another character. It could be wise to make him Warrior/Toon if he is 4-star. 4) Concerning the online mode (live one), i was wondering why the damage was significantly reduced? I can do up to 200 damage on a A+B with envoy of death but I was 'only' doing 30 damage when playing against other players. Same for the hold A, the damage was ridiculously low compared to what I do in Tower/Who's Next modes. 5) There should be an easier way to get the characters that a player hasn't got yet. I would argue that the Draft mode should have a higher chance of giving the player the characters he his missing. Maybe double or triple the chance of getting said characters. So if it is a 1/30 chance it becomes 1/15 chance. or 1/10 chance. I am attempting to be 1st this week on Who's Next, so far I am first but the number 2 is giving some good competition.
Maybe if you gave a better reward for eating people , i have a few characters i dont use much or dont like to use, but it seems more worth while to keep them unless of course you have to eat (double character) outside of that maybe ive eaten one player, you get the level up boost but it also charges you gold , so its not to advantageous
