Hi everyone, we're really happy that you like the game as much as we do. Since there are several issues, why don't we try to solve those . First of all The Game does save your single player progress BUT if you leave during your session and pick up on a later time, you will have to fight your last opponent again. In addition to that, you start at 0 Wins. But every Character you've already beaten since your last game, is still beaten in this session. Regarding your post It's true there is no Tutorial in it. But since we use the standard Blackjack rules, we decided to leave the tutorial out. And to you We've just recently released SBJB2 on Mobile and there are more platforms coming. This is important for us, because like every other Online Multiplayer Game, we rely on players playing it. You can play crossplattform on all available systems, which means you can play a game on Mobile and have people on PC join in. We're also on our way to release the Game on Consoles as well. Julian/Headup
I love this game and I can't see how anyone couldn't interesting concept save system could be improved outside of that no complaints! thanks for this awesome game!
Thank you Headup for joining this thread! I wasn't sure if it saved, but from what you said, I don't mind starting from my last opponent if all the other matches are under my belt. I can't wait to see some multiplayer out there...the world championship seems like a great game option. Would you ever consider adding a poker mode to this game in the future if it does well?
It's not the end of the world like some claim It's an awesome game with a very unique concept complete with Street fighter nostalgia galore I think that can and will get fixed due to feedback but it's every bit worth the cheap price I'm having so much fun playing it
Okay, I take back what I said. If you don't know how to play Blackjack, take 10 minutes to become acquainted with how it works and definitely check this out if the Street Fighter II theme is your thing. It's really fun. Might just be a fresh coat of paint on a tried and true formula, but remember that this has multiplayer and isn't riddled with IAPs and garbage like other card games on the App Store are.
I can't believe you didn't know blackjack It's not hard the wagering is what makes it so fun because that will either be how you win or your downfall. It's so fun and the nostalgia alone is worth it
The save system is still confusing me slightly - Any chance of a more detailed explanation as to progression and saving please? It's the starting again at 0 wins which is sounding odd.... Thanks
Waiting for instant saves whenever I leave the game. A no go for my kind of mobile gaming until then.
Same here. The previous "save" explanation was unclear, and I still have doubts that it is sufficient for casual play.
I want to love this game, and I think I still can... the multiplayer is non existent, after trying last night and most of today I have been given an opponent twice (neither time in the World Championship- haven't been able to play it at all). Don't know if it is a bug, or because game is new, but it is very frustrating! As far as the saves go, the flags on the map that you have beaten are marked with a star. If you leave the mode they are no longer marked. So if you have no record of your progress is it really saving? Not to me--- hopefully these issues can be corrected soon! So much potential!!!
I'd consider buying this but believe the save system needs to be more mobile friendly. People may want to quickly play and stop and thus needing to finish an entire round is prohibitive. Allowing save anytime is mobile friendly
Amazing It is truly amazing the level of hype this game was given... The same ppl that are praising this game for its SF connectiom are the same complaining that it does not save. This is actually funny since in SF your progress mid arcade or story mode was never saved. So in the dev's defense, this is just an "homage" to true SF spirit LOL Still fail to see how this is anything other than a blackjack game, which you can go play for free anywhere. Heck the dev even says they did not include a tutorial because this is just blackjack, no inovation. I will be very disappointed with TA if this gets selected as game of the week.
I don't know about anymod the other characters, but the South African character's winning lines have some pretty racist or sexist overtones. "I refuse to play your Chinese mind tricks." Is what he says after he defeats a Chinese character. Seriously? You made the South African character a freaking GUN RUNNER? This is bad comedy. Shame on you.
At least the developers should know that some people love the game enough for it to be their game of the week.
This statement right here is the world we live in now, versus when Street Fighter II was out. Maybe you should go play it again and see how stereotypical all the characters were. That's the point. Why can't people just have fun with each other anymore?
