Andy - you need to edit the beginning, so it looks like that 82000 game is typical. Prior game only 16000. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Just busted a 49,400 with Andy's inspirational vid. Also downed 2 big mother ships. First of those I've seen.
I'm not sure what the score display is showing post game. When I scored my 49,400 under it said best score 49,000. My previous best was 27,400 actually. Something wonky goin on there for sure.
I was thinking an additional option of choosing a vertical slider control might be nice - slide your finger up to rotate ship clockwise; slide down to reverse direction - seems like that would be easy enough to implement and fit on the screen. Also could make it customizable (ie, horizontal slider, placement on screen, reversed, etc). Also wouldn't mind like an 'arcade' version of gameplay, where you could get 3 lives, but still keep the one life option for those who like things the way they are. Pretty nifty game, though.
I'm with you on the controls being very good as is. Just needed to get more game time under my belt. Thanks for the inspirational vid. Lol
Just got 56k so I'm getting better. I'd still love a slider control but I'm liking the current set up a little more. Pretty addictive shooter #
Wow. I'm going to buy this now. Insinuating that Game Center lovers either don't have a working GC or don't care about Game Center couldn't be farther than the truth. This inaccurate statement just sold another copy of Arc Light.
