Universal Super Arc Light (By No Code/Channel 4)

    Hello! Dev here :)

    There is no ads that disrupt gameplay/experience/visuals in any way. The only ad you can ever see is if you click on the "More from All 4" (The publisher) button on the home screen you can see ads for other games in their roster. Totally opt in, it'll never pop up on its own.

    Glad you guys are enjoying the game! We have lots planned for the first update, including some more/new music. We've had both good and bad feedback on it as expected - so plan to add a few more tracks for those who like different styles and vary it up a bit.

    If you guys have any cool suggestions/ideas, post em up! We plan to do a lot of post-launch support and keep evolving the game, so positive ideas are very welcome :)

    Absolutely love the style and mechanic employed here. My best is 7200, I only wish some of the enemies would linger a tad longer. The games are so quickly over. I'd rather have many more enemy ships to deal with that descend at a slightly slower rate. This has tons of potential all over the place. Rlly hope the dev plays around with some tweaks here and there.

    I think the enemies need to linger a little more or better yet add a force field like the arcade game star castle to help absorb some crap. And maybe it gets replenished between levels like the tempest super zapper. And u can add a smart bomb button we can use to blow up the screen when shit hits the fan. And you earn another bomb at certain score thresholds.

    You can also maybe increase the hit target area so enemies are a smidge easier to pop.

    For the controls maybe it goes into bullet time like max Payne when you get up close and personal to an enemy invading your personal space

    Bonus rounds like galaga or gyrus would be cool too. Nice to get a break between mayhem. #

    Congrats on the AppStore feature. I don't hate the music like some other above, but it does wear on me after a while, and I ended up turning it off. My high score is 23300 which looks like it's pretty good comparatively!

    Absolutely love this game. Rlly hope that it can be expanded a bit. Some type of shield to charge or a combo system. Great game for sure.

    Great game, although I've not yet got a good score - but it's early days. Good to see that Channel 4 is investing in quality, standalone games & not just apps linked to their television programmes.

    I love the game. I'm happy I purchased it. I would request a two finger control scheme so tapping left goes left and tapping right goes right. To give it the gyruss feel.

    I love the art style. I love how the ship never stops moving. Really nice game dev. There is soooo much replayability.

    Agreed we need some more control options. Maybe a slider so it plays like tempest. I also think power ups should last a bit longer. Too many times I got screwed with a bunch of kamikazees all over the place with no chance in hell of surviving

    Ya, after thinking about it, it would seem best. That way you could rotate and switch directions very quickly. On the screen bottom, off the field of play.

    Just wondering what ppls scores are. I think my best is 27,400. Still haven't broken 30k.

    Love the wheel slider idea. I was thinking left to right but 360 would be perfect...with a sensitivity adjustment.

    My high score is 32k. Pure luck.

    I have to agree. The controls are my favorite thing about this game. It really takes some finesse to have good control over your ship. That's what gives the game the "one more time" feeling for me.


    Edit: just watched your video, Andy. Very impressive.
