Hi everyone, I'm about to complete my third game and I would like to do a little beta test before I submit it to apple. The game is called 'Super 7' and it's an arcade game in the line-drawing sub-genre. The goal of the game is to combine discs with lines so they add up to 7. Once negative numbers and multipliers start to appear things can get quit hectic I'm looking for about 10-20 people to give the game a spin and provide me with feedback. If you are interested, please send me a PM with the following information: Your Full Name: Email: Device UDID: TA name: OpenFeint name: Here are a few screenshots of the game:
PM'ing now, reminded me at first sight of that Wii Fit Plus game where you have to hit the bumpers with your hips
I love Green Fingers and Alphabetic, but I'm not really into line-drawing games, so I think I'll skip on this one and therefore won't betatest it. If something is totally different from other line-drawing games, please say so, because I'm then interested in beta testing.
I wouldn't say it's totally different than other line-drawing games (since it shares the line-drawing mechanic) but it plays very differently: - The pace of the game is much higher than most line-drawing games. - In Super 7 you'll divide your attention between space management (like in most line-drawing games) and decisions on how to combine the disks together. I'm glad you like my previous games so I would be interested to know what you think about this new game
Thanks for all the PM's so far everybody! I'll send everybody who has replied so far a beta build of the game tomorrow. There are still a few slots left so it isn't too late to send me a PM and participate
Yes, your in. I've just send an email to everybody that has send me a PM. Please reports any bugs you encounter and any suggestions you might have about Super 7 in this thread. Have fun!
Hi guys, got to play for 10 minutes earlier, really like it. Bright and colourful. Simple yet quickly complicated. It reminds me of path finding games like Flight Control etc... Which is no bad thing! In preperation for Super 7, I played your other 2 games and I must say the high level of polish is present throughout! I'll report my findings back later. Nice job so far!
While I'm sure much will become clear once I get my hands on the beta build, I'm just curious, how does scoring work? I'm assuming it is all about bringing pieces together until they equal 7 to eliminate them but am curious, what is the trick to getting extra points? Like does the game scoring support any sort of combo/stylistic bonus points and if so what is the key to doing so? Is it about making multiple 7s quickly or is it better to create a 7 by using as many pieces as possible (like in Big Top 10)?
