Realize now that my timing is less than optimal. I'm off into the Alps for 10 days. I'll have WiFi in the evenings, but expect some fairly large gaps in response times
Not to mention that I'll need those extra hours for each turn to wrap my head around Tacullu & crews very different outlook on life (I'm trying to wean myself off Cloaks, whom I took a direct liking to, a faction which is not doing my already anemic victory rate any favours But balance issues aside, Cloaks are just so fun in both concept and mechanics, so I'll probably return to them once I've had marginally better success with all the new factions...)
Cloaks were definitely the most fun faction in the original set. The Filth might be the new Cloaks, or they might be the new Fallen Kingdom.
The quick jump from that Savager really put a dent in my Filth! It's been too long since I've played with the Master Set Factions.
The Swamp Orcs v Filth starting match up was fairly ugly, but the Filth have an interesting way of working magic. I think the key for me is to kill as many of your commons as I can.
Sure, but the weak commons are going to get me killed, since you're building boatloads of magic off of them
Good game, but jeez, the Swamp Orcs vine walls are annoying as heck. The worst part is you don't even get magic from destroying them!
Anyone else noticed that the game now feels very very smooth? Like buttery smooth. I'm using iPhone 6...
Performance for me has been the same as before, but it was pretty much always without issue. Maybe they optimized for 64-bit devices now.
Holy shit, I hate Shadow Elves so much! Not because they are an op faction, it's because of the bs shadows activations. 99 times out of 100 the other player just hits okay anyway but still the card adds pointless activations to the game.
Yes! I have only played one game since the new factions came out and will have no idea what I'm doing, but I'd love to play and would love for someone to set up a tournament.
