Epic match with Neo, each of us playing FK. I had a shot but double 1s for Anica kind of sucked the wind out of my sails. Currently, Neo has the advantage with Grubs as protector and I doubt I have any chance now. We each have 5 units in play now but Neo has 4 mp left, enough to summon two more units. I blew it all on an agressive strategy and am coming up a bit short here. GG, Neo.
Alan, yeah it's been a brutal back and forth between champs and commons. I don't generally use Grubs, Anica is pretty much always in my deck.
Never dreamed of using Grubs in any deck but this has opened my eyes. I can see the potential for a surprise attack using the bonus move.
I've probably brought 14-15 Cultists into play, right? Omg. I think I only tossed one aside, brought in three with a Raise Dead, then two more with another Raise Dead. Whatever. Ridiculous. FK is very hard to work with and harder still to play well. If you had made the mistake of ditching a wall for magic, I would ha had every slot covered. Lol.
Another "Have you seen this bug?" question. Is it a common bug to not be able to create games on iPad? I did the start an ai game trick and still crash every time I try. Starting games is fine on my phone.
It's a known bug. The workaround is to create a new offline game and then cancel it. After that you'll be able to create an online game.
How come my character manage to miss the wall? Come on! It is a wall, it does not bite back, it stands still, I understand range combat may miss in a distance, but slashing?! In a current game, I manage to make a darling raid straight on the enemy summoner who has 1 HP left, but misses!
Lol good point re the wall CM! Such is the nature of dice roll games. Particularly those having significant dice roll implementation. Take them as they are.
Sorry, but I win the world's championship on that one. Started out on SW with a horrid streak, punctuated by a brief respite of normal rolls and was able to bring my record up a bit. And then, back to crap, utter crap. In one brief stretch the other night (documented for a buddy), in 13 rolls of two dice, none were two hits. Average expectation is 5 or 6 will be two hits. 4 were zero hits, normal expectation is once or twice. Ridiculous. I've gotten to the point where I dread rolling the dice and start twitching nervously. I actually played PE four times in a row recently just to be able to relax. Meanwhile, I can't be too upset. I usually play with the worst factions, not the best, although I intend to play PE, GD and TO just a bit more for awhile (I do value my sanity). Relax. They're dice. Streaks (lucky or unlucky) can go on for much longer than you realize. In any event, we tend to remember the horrible rolls, not the good ones.
Neo - will be online tonight to finish up my assumed loss. I don't understand why you gave me a chance to win the game! There was no need. If my Phantom had rolled a 6, your Summoner would have been 96.4% odds to be toasted by your own Grubs. [edit: misremembered! It wasn't Grubs my Phantom might have possessed, it wasa Reaper, so If I had rolled the 6 to possess, I would have had a 66.7% chance of winning] Epic game. FK vs. FK. 22 units on each side (1 Summoner, 3 Champs and 18 Commons - 44 units in all). I'll bet at least 65 units made it to the playing field with re-spawning effects. Wow.
That Reaper was not going to be able to attack Ret, even if you had Possessed him I had units around and Grubs to take care of it. In order to use a Reaper to attack Ret that very turn it would have to be a Reaper adjacent to Ret, which never happened.
You know, if you come back to win this MLKeener, you're the luckiest guy I've ever played... I must have had over 12 shots at your 6 health summoner and you have one health left...

So how is Bastion? I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on it, although I'm also waiting for Baldurs Gate to arrive. Have TWEWY and liking it too...seems like a good week for RPGs
