Ok. I sacked the two zombies and the skeleton. Should have reduced his cost by six taking one from my pool to summon. The border stayed blue so I sacked the reaper and still blue. If I get him this time around I'll try a screen record so I can watch later to see if I miss something.
You probably pressed Done after sacrificing the three commons. If you press Done any time during this action without summoning Elut Bal to the board then those sacrificed units count for no value. In order, these are the steps: 1. Drag Elut's card to the board to initiate the ability, where the commons will have yellow border around them. 2. Drag the commons you want to sacrifice to your discard pile. DO NOT PRESS DONE. 3. Drag Elut's card onto the battlefield to summon him, if you have the magic to do so.
That's how it works. It nailed me a couple of times early before I got the hang of it. I got burned on Greater Raise also, once I pressed attack in error and the other time I pressed done and I wasted the card.

This is where having even an inept AI for offline pay helps to learn the mechanics of each faction. I've managed to do those things quite a few times early on as well ^_^
Has anyone noticed a bug with using Vlox's ability to copy a Slasher? I forgot to post this yesterday but I copied a Slasher and attacked the enemy summoner, I rolled a 6 and a 1 but only did 1 damage. Shouldn't I have done 3 damage? It cost me the game which is why I remember.
Slasher's ability like the Scrapper's works only against adjacent enemies. Maybe you attacked at range?
To all those who had me invited for a game, sorry if I wasnt accepting it for the past 2 weeks. Been crazy with a new job (third one ) and playtime has been limited much since then. I'll be ready to pick up the cards and roll some virtual dice again starting this sunday, though. Cheers to one of the best games on the iOS evar.
Ok, I now found another bug. This game is somewhat annoying in this. I am using the kingdom faction .... Play the card giving two damage to my summoner to play any champion. Select te one with 7 cost, you know the one you can reduce the cost by destroying commons ... And the event fails. It happen three times already. Griffin sorry for my forfeit, this is the reason.
Never happened to me before, because I always sacrifice units to Elut Bal and use the forced summon on the other champs. An early Elut Bal means I can mana drain when they have at least 2 mana and they cant use their mana drains and reinforcements. But if it is as you say, then good catch on a glitch.
It card just reduces the cost of the Champion by 5. You'd still have to have 2 magic left over to summon him.
