Not sure why but it keeps on crashing on my 1st gen iPad. Kinda frustrating because more than willing to plonk down $ on the in-game store.
Hey, when I win, it's gotta be my supreme skill, right? When I lose, it's my rotten rolls or my opponent's super good luck, right? That's why we all love SW. Right? And to those who doubt me, chaos actually revealed the chant to me privately. He can't deny it. I just can't pronounce it correctly. When I try, I roll only 2s.

After it became abundantly clear that iMessage group chat is very unwieldy it was unceremoniously dissolved. But I'm sure everyone who joined in had a good time while it wasn't taking over their entire device and I really want to continue that. It's apparent that most people aren't very familiar with IRC, however it's a great fit for the kind of chatting we want to do. Along with the channel and server details I'm also advertising a free IRC app in my sig now, IRC999. It's a very functional client that lacks some advanced features but has enough features to give everyone a taste of what they can expect from IRC. Anyone willing to install and try IRC999 will be faced with questions about how to connect to a server so I'm leaving a few screenshots here to help you get through that. When you first run the app you'll be greeted by an empty window with the following in the top left, tap on Add New Server, After that, fill the fields as I've shown below, (substituting nicks and names for your own) Go back to Channel List and tap on Add New Channel, Fill in the fields as I've shown, Go back to Channel List and tap Done, after which you'll be at the following screen, Tap on Psigenix and you'll be connected to the server after which you can tap on the Summoner Was channel to start chatting there. The app does support multitasking, however you'll be disconnected if it stays in multitasking for more than 10-15 minutes. Also, the app does not generate any notifications. You can also join the channel via Windows/Linux/Mac client applications like mIRC or Irssi, or you can use a web based client like Mibbit. I hope to meet some of the group chat users there and newcomers looking for some SW or board gaming chatter. And yes... I know this post is wildly off-topic
Hmmm maybe I'll give it a try soon... It's really too bad that there is no in-game chat function as of yet. I think it would be invaluable to those of us who are really struggling (5W:30L here) to hear input from those who are giving us the smack down. I finally broke down and read thru the SW forums and blagog blog to try to get a better grip of particular units, deck construction and such, only to still lose big time! I feel like a kid playing against grandmasters I'm not asking for a pity party but it is starting to become frustrating, where I'm beginning to dread the SW notification instead of being thrilled it's my turn! Hopefully it'll finally "click" with me and I can actually give someone a competitive game instead of being the roflstomp victim, because this is a fantastic deep game I really want to dive into...
Well I have been experimenting with all of them to get a feel for them. I'm trying to settle down with using the PE, GD or TO now (I figure they're probably the easiest to gain competency on). Now that I've built some decks over the weekend I'll try rolling them out in games this week.
Yeah, just caught the fledgling channel at the wrong time Oh, one thing I forgot to mention earlier is that you can tap the button that looks like a face in the top right to get a list of people who are in the channel. Also, if you come in please stop by, the first thing to do is call another user out by their nick, so something like "hey e4" will give me a ding/highlight on my client and I'll know someone is in the channel.
Getting a few bugs again. Happening to anyone else? Got a game stuck, appears he has finished his turn as can see he is discarding cards but still says his attack phase and won't let me do anything.
I have frequently another annoying bug when trying to create a new game it totally crashes Btw I'm karajohn13 in GC, I want to thank FPEX, onlyphoenix and celeric for some great games, my apologies for being such a rookie and promise to be much more competitive in the near future Finally, in a possible future poll for the best asynchronous mp board game in iOS I would vote for SW, hands down

Is this compatible with iPad 1st gen? I installed on mine to play on 3G while on holidays and it crashes on start.
I honestly don't know, I would really hope it is though. Brilliant game but certainly not one you would call processor hungry.
