Is there away that one of us in TA can organie and start a Summoner Wars tounament? No prizes except recognition in a thread with records of the tourneys. Just a TA tourney of sorts.
We can do a 5-for-fighting tourney, if enough people are interested from here we can start it on Challonge.
What are the rules in a 5-for-fighting tourney? Is that the one where you use 5 decks? Coz I was thinking of starting out simple, like bringing a single deck out, and playing round robin or elimination matches. EDIT: I just realized there's no way to check for decklists, so i guess 1 faction to bring to the tourney. That way, we can track faction stats as well.
Given how some factions are superior to others in very clear ways I wouldn't want a single faction tourney. If it's a one faction tourney we should select factions for both players randomly. I still think 5-for-fighting is the best way to do it, enough time has passed for people to get comfortable with at least 5 factions.
I'm just getting started on this. Late to the party. Will have to blitz through and learn every faction asap. But I'll be ready to play competitively in a week or so I think!
Wouldn't worry about it Camzee, still pretty active player base and to be honest everyone seems to be pretty hot on taking their turns as well which is nice (unlike pocket heroes annoyingly!).
I don't really play with randoms, the Ascension crowd seem pretty active here, they're a good bunch, so it'll be fun I'm sure.
My win-loss record was already sinking like a stone. Camzy's entry into the SW game group certainly isn't going to help matters any.
I'm finding it increasingly annoying that there aren't unique card graphics for each event. Having to double tap to view each time could be easily averted with unique graphics for the cards. That said, the game's a blast. I'm still playing through the factions, but so far have liked Vanguard and the healing abilities.
