c'mon cut me some slack, you're 8 wins and 3 losses against me lol! That said, most of the ascension regulars are up to speed with the game, so every game is a tough contest, my win rate has really plummeted to 50%. Besides you, i really struggle against idrinkwater, wakeofposeidon, Psciene.
I concede (and this is a better word than forfeit DEVS!!) when my only way of winning is hoping in the rolls. Even against the GD (which just kicked my butt) tcwrt that was a typical JE finishing move I love this faction even if I am still making lots of mistakes with cards and i am not happy with the standard champions. Celeric, long time no play (even in ascension) ... but did you not have a different nick on TA before? Or am I confusing with griffin ... so long ago.
My strategy against TO is pretty much what i follow and i have a decent record against them. 1. Plan when and how to take down Smashers. (i believe they are MVP commons for TO, more so than Fighters) 2. Shaman can be ignored(low priority) if there are other targets. Dont let two attackers attack shamans in one turn if it means losing attack opportunities on other units. 3. If you can take out a Smasher in one turn while foreseeing only 1 of your commons killed, even if it takes 3 attacks, id do the trade. 4. Make big consideration in moving in for the attack if it means your units have to stand adjacent to a TO wall. If you need to, only have 1 unit adjacent to a TO wall at a time. 5. Avoid confronting Grognack unless you have more than 1 unit able to attack him turn after turn. Dealing him 1 wound and losing a common isnt a good deal if in the next turn, he's safe from other attacks. 6. Dont discard Freezes unless you need to, but try to always have 2 magic for each freeze on the board. Early on, you can save 2 magic for the first Freeze to counter any ugly next-turn combos TO might pull on you. These are my specific strategies that only get broken on very rare and specific occasions. I hope that helps. TO is the metagame right now. If you cant consistently beat TO AI, you need to reconsider your tactics.
I know all of those and beating any AI is of no real worth. I hate TO because of the nature of the deck and scratching on 5 of 7 dice had nothing to do with poor strategy, so I'm not sure why you're trying to teach me strategy and tactics...

@sapphire_neo: GG, made too many mistakes and I kept on using the 2nd ability of fire drake instead of the normal 3 attack I was hoping your last attack wont hit. hehe
I'll take any win CL vs PE is a tough match because my Cloak of Shadows event is almost always useless, and this time I had Spy in my very final hand, when you were already decked. As for the second ability, I'll just pretend you had bad dice
Just wanted to leave a quick shout out to all the folks that hang out here that I'm playing with. Having a great time with the wins and losses (mostly) and learning the game. Still haven't jumped into customizing any of the decks, I figure that will be the next step after I get a good grip on the play style of each faction.
Is anyone else's stats messed up? It is showing me as having 1 Win, 7 Losses, 6 Fofeits, and 4 games complete, none or which are close to correct, and the games complete obviously makes no sense.

Yeah, Cloaks are tough but also fun to use. I miscounted your Spirit events at the end... hazards of underestimating your opponent.
Yeah that last move with the hasted lionesses to surround and kill my dwarf summoner (whom I thought was safe) was the most epic move I've seen in all of the games I've played...well played sir! I like the JE too but I have nowhere near the skill to pull moves like that off yet
Agree with those that say the Cloaks are fun to use! Surprised a little to see their global success rate at the bottom of the pile. So far they've been my most successful at 3/0. In fact Tundra Orcs are my worst at 3/3 an they're top of the global pile... Go figure!?
I'm not sure if everyone knows or has figured it out but you can tap on 'All' in the deck builder/selector load screens to cycle through deck factions. This makes life a lot easier if you maintain 3-4 decks per factions.
