Strangiato, I've just encountered a similar crash to what some other people have reported with FK. At Round 3 on my turn against the Tundra Orcs AI, after adding a Phantom to my Magic Pile the game crashed as soon as it moved to the next phase.

Repeated the crash again by adding a Phantom to my Magic Pile. Please fix this soon! It effectively breaks an entire faction. Also, this does not happen in pass and play mode, only against the AI. I've tried it against TO and GD.

I must be completely horrible at this game. I believe I am 0 for 8 now(all AI games) and I've done a total of 3 points of damage to enemy summoners in those 8 games. I've been trying to play cloaks, but I recently decided they must be really weak do I switched to the undead deck and got beat just as badly.

Cloaks require very smart use of Vlox's ability in combination with summoning the right units to support him. You also need to use Thief units to hurt your opponent, and possibly steal twice in a turn by using a Scrapper combo on a previous turn. Try to save up a Raid to help your Thief summoned from a forward wall, and have Vlox in a forward position with a Scrapper teleport. In this case you can Steal two cards in one turn. Plus you need to use Spy effectively, give the player back his most expensive commons and junk his Champion or important Magic, put Walls or cheap commons at the bottom.

Cloaks are possibly the toughest faction in the game right now and definitely not recommended for early play.

Try Tundra Orcs/Pheonix elves to start. Real easymode. Orcs if you are lucky elves if you are not.

    Edit:
Wow. Epic game with the Human Mustache. went to the final cards. GG. Hope you're a TAer. Epic freaking game. One unit won the game xD. Go vanguard healing!

I just tried one game as elves and actually won. Still, just barely. This is a hard game.

I'm having a good time with the elves. I have to say, though, that the UI is a bit hit and miss.

I had a Fire Drake, used a Spirit of the Phoenix event on him, and then unwillingly used his special ability on the enemy next to him, instead of the full 3x damage attack. That caused me to lose the game.

I would love it if the UI would be clearer in terms of what I'm attacking with - a small icon under the finger you're dragging, with a number, is _not_ my definition of "clear". An option for confirming what you want to do in the few cases there's ambiguity between special abilities and regular attack would be great - I'd certainly turn it on. You should have seen my stare of disbelief staring at the board when the AI's summoner only suffered 1 hit.

    Asides from that, fantastic game.

Having played this for a bit, I can safely say that there really, really, really needs to be an "undo" function added. :p

That said, the game represents insane value for money: the iOS "everything" bundle costs NZ$10.99, while buying the physical elves and orcs starter set alone will set you back around NZ$45 here.

I finally won once as orcs vs elves. The orcs summoner is insanely nice!

Anyhow, I thinki did not understand the attack rules. Every turn, even if I have cards in position to attack, I am not allowed. Is there a maximum number of attack moves that can be done per turn?

Yes, there is a limit of 3 moves and 3 attacks per turn. Some Cave Gobkin units attack and move outside of this limit.

Yes, it's the number in the "attack" icon, to the right side of the screen. The same for the move.

One more reason why you would need an undo button ;)

I guess that the only exception to this is the Fury?

I've also made accidental moves trying to do something else. I don't think an undo button is realistic for this game because of the dice. It could easily be abused by just undoing your turn until you get rolls you need. Maybe there could be a confirmation button but I would only like that if there was a option to turn it off.

On another note this game is truly awesome, paydek really out did themselves. I can't believe outwitters(another great game) got this weeks editors choice.

The amount of content in this game is insane. No two factions are alike and you can spend a good chunk of time exploring the reinforcements and mercenaries.

They need an undo button for summoning, event cards, movement phase and just disable undo for attack phase.

I think there should an an option for a confirmation of a move before the dies are rolled. I would greatly appreciate that.
Also I find the animation of the cards very fast and it forces e to zoom to see what is happening almost every time the opponent summons something

Dice rolls only really come into play on the attack phase, though, so an "undo" function would be fine in the others. In the attack phase, a confirmation or better selection/activation process for attacks (special attacks in particular) would take care of most of the need for an "undo" feature.

I think it is just a matter of time. Until you really know both all of your units' abilities and what each faction you are fighting against can do, it probably won't go great.
