Hey, got a 4th Gen Touch for Christmas and I'm looking for a screen protector. Any suggestions. My previous devices I've used Invisible Shield and while I don't have many (or any for that matter) complaints regarding the IS protectors I'm wondering if there may be more or better compitition now since my ISs were purchased years ago.
Nope, still the best imo. I barely even look for anything else, and ones that my friends have purchased are way passed f*cking gross looking. Making the screen look all blurry and shit.
While I've never tried the ZAGG Invisible Shield, I've had no problems whatsoever with cheaper alternatives. I ordered a pack of three screen protectors on Amazon for like $2 which I installed with no problems (or air bubbles). I guess it depends on who is installing the screen protector, because they can look pretty messed up if someone screws it up.
You may also want to check out eBay for screen protectors and device cases. If you're know what to look for, there are plenty of inexpensive items there.
idk, but now I can't find any screen protectors for my 2nd gen. Just wanted to get that off my chest...
The thing is I heard that compared to compition the Invisible Shield is the inferior product now but I was unable to find out what better options are available. I was told that there are much clearer screen protectors that feel more natural compared to the IS. Anyway, I took another members advice and looked up Ghost Armor. I wish there was a place locally that sold these things so I didn't have to worry about paying shipping cost. The closest thing I found locally was Invisible Shields for practically every other device other than the iPod Touch. Oh and I've tried generic screen protectors on other devices and my problem is I always have issues with bubbles. At least with the Invisible Shield it was easy to install and I never had bubble problems.
