As mentioned already, I use the contest system. They are fun, the thread stays alive longer and it attracts more people to the thread.

Remember, they are called promo codes for a reason. Just posting a list of 20 codes and saying "come and get it" is a waste.

 

For those who might have missed this post hidden in one of the 10000s of lurker threads here,..

A lot of lurkers = PM sends in the first few minute(s)...

 

Does it really matter?

I think Arn has been trying to say all this time is that they really don't care,just give the codes away!

 

The only lurker account i know of is imnosuperman

 

Although we've seen devs post codes and then act in dismay when they disappear without a single reply. Maybe it's just foolishness on their part, but it sure seems like they didn't want their codes lurked.

 

If you want reviews, I've been looking at using this site:

Upload your codes to there and then link to the site whenever you want to give away promo codes.

I've had some success in getting reviews (good, bad, and neutral) by putting promo codes up there.
