Dungeon and Hero - terrible controls. Escape or iEscape -- I forget the name -- just the lite version but it was the most horrible pixelated thing I've ever played. Tiny graphics, awful controls.
Digital Chocolate is the most disappointing dev on the AppStore. Their first game, Tower Bloxx, was good. Not great (used too much memory, had crashes, startup time is even longer than EAs Tetris). Than it got worse. this Pyramid Bloxx is unplayable. The Mini Golf game has a framerate which is even worse than the framerate of Nitro Kart 3D - and we all know what this means. You really feel that this company only created one real game for the iPhone and then sat down, thought about this and now spends less time and produces just ports. I even stopped mentioning their games on my website.
About half of the games here I like, but I can see why some people wouldn't like them. Hmm... For me, a game I would say stay away from is... Star Defense It's just boring and unoriginal. Just like any other TD out there, except on a orb. And... Blue Attack Ridiculously irritating to control and not that fun. Blue Defense was great, but this game sucked.
Zen Bound - boring as hell Star Defence - too easy, not so many levels, crappy graphic, boring levels Buka - mumbling gum Galaxy On Fire - also boring and shitty control Kryzer Prologue - simply sucks, I don't understand people who enjoy it Stick Wars - visual style is scaring me Tower Madness - crappy graphic and concept (wtf - aliens and sheeps?) Uggles - control is killing me Sonic - .
Well, admittedly I am a 1G Touch user, but this was my recent experience with Circuit Strike too, so I have a bitter taste in my mouth. The dev or Apple should state CLEARLY on iTunes, which games won't run well on the lower end Devices. It's so easy to do. Just write it in next to where it already says 'Requirements. Compatible with X'. Instead we have to take leaps of faith half the time, and just hope for the best. With Circuit Strike, I know that that probably won't be a long term problem, as the dev is active here and is seeing to it. But with Sega? And of course it hits you harder when the game cost $5.99! Now, I know a lot of devs don't have lower end Devices to test on, so maybe this should all be the job of Apple during the submission process. Either way, the last thing that should happen, is to have gamers coughing up their hard earned cash, regardless of how little, only to find they can't play the flaming thing.
i'll go ahead and say Knights Onrush. where's the fun in touching and moving out a dozen of guards as fast as possible again and again? Graphics were good though but they're almost always the same on every levels. Another one would be Dinosmash online. hum, you just move left or right and spam the hammer button. sucks.
Peggle (yeah so what if there is a fanbase for it? I don't care and I think it's barely worth $0.99) Car Jack (I simply dislike games of this genre, especially if they are related to GTA in any way; you could call it genre bias)
Unless you've actually experienced something, I don't think you can have a valid opinion on that something. But that's just me.
underworlds- too hard if you go on normal, but to easy if you go on easy -.- Abigale - really really hard IMO, rRootage was much better and not to mention it was free The sims 3 - Just bleh... no fun not being able to build a house Stick wars - deend your castle is better Rolando - Just boring D: Thats all I can remember...
The worst offenders in the last weeks have been Car Jack Streets and Circuit Strike one. You can hate me now.
Hmm... We <3 Katamari, or whatever the iPhone version is called. I love the series, I just hate the performance on the iPhone version. Car Jack Streets. I don't know why I even bought it after owning GTA: China Town Wars. Warfare Inc. What updates? Chronicles of Inotia. Pretty choppy performance and a lackluster RPG. I guess I wanted a RPG on the iPhone badly. Dark Raider. This one couldn't hold my attention. Maybe it just needs some more shine on the graphics side. Or maybe its just the gameplay. Galaxy on Fire 3d. Great looking game, great single player. Then I got to the open ended part of the game. Where's all the fun dogfighting, and its just really repetitive (I can't believe the whole galaxy is just the same).
