New Orleans 2014 Update Hey guys, Jake and the Surfer crew have traveled to New Orleans for the latest stop on the World Tour. The big feature in New Orleans is Facebook Gifts. Connect to Facebook and have fun playing with your friends! When you connect the game - or if you are already connected - you will receive a gift containing various in-game consumables. Other additions in New Orleans include new Awards. Step up your Top Run game, get Gold medals and earn the Gold Surfer Awards. There are also new Board Upgrades for the Starboard and Big Kahuna as well as a slick Outfit for Eddy, the brilliant magician. Have fun surfing the spooky tracks of New Orleans! Feedback and questions are very welcome. I will do my best to answer.
Bangkok Update Hi guys, Jake and his friends are now surfing in the beautiful Subway of Bangkok! The big thing in Bangkok is Dino, the Facebook character. Dino is the second installment of our Facebook Gifts. To grind trains with Dino you only need to connect your game to Facebook. Other cool additions in Bangkok include Noon, an elegant thai boxer, the Turtle Board and new challenging High Jumper Awards. You get these Awards by wearing Super Sneakers for X minutes in a row, which sounds much easier than it is I hope you enjoy the stay in Bangkok! As always, feedback and questions are very welcome.
Awesome! Can't wait to update later! What was the first Facebook gift? And when does Dino show up? I'm connected to Facebook and don't see him anywhere.
The first Facebook Gift was a pack with 25 Hoverboards, 10 Keys and 5 Mega Headstarts. And then you also got the sign-in bonus of 5000 Coins if you were not already connected. To get Dino, all you need to do is make a run in the Subway. After this run you'll be able to select Dino in the Character menu
I've been playing this on and off since it came out a couple of years back. Looked at the FB page a while back and seen people post up obvious cheat scores! Like they were real proud of it. Don't get that at all. I like that they continue to change the backdrops/themes, but it's still basically the same run over and over, more variety on the layout would keep it more interesting. Also, the bonus characters are insanely difficult to get, unless you're playing 24/7.
FWIW, while I loathe "true" cheaters, without even looking at the scores, I would guess that many of them are likely possible via the ability to purchase unlimited HBs and Keys... no judgment either way, but if I had the drive to purchase 1000s of HBs and Keys, I could clear 100,000,000 in SS with relative ease... AS for your second comment, welcome to the world of endless runners. Pretty standard stuff. As for Bonus Characters, you're not the first to bring this up. In my own personal experience, I tend to average 10-20 minutes of gameplay per day and have yet to miss either a character or a board... YMMV. DBC
Welcome to the world of ?? ... I'm old enough to remember when if someone in your area had a C64, they were suddenly your best mate! I've played just about every kind of game imaginable over the years, and I am well up to date on runners. But SS is possibly the biggest of them, makes millions, and has been out a couple of years now - a new coat of paint every month or so isn't enough to keep 'me' interested at least.
Hello! I've been playing Subway Surfers for quite some time now and love the game! I recently had an iPad mini "die" on me and just got a new one in September. I've done quite a bit of research and cannot seem to find or get an answer to my problem! Just found this today so I thought I would pop in and ask~ As I said, my old iPad mini died on me completely and until I got the new one, I have not tried out SS (the app is downloaded but I haven't done anything with it). I did connect it to my Facebook account (when I first started playing) and was wondering if I could get all my items, coins, boards, and people that I had earned previously before back from my old iPad to the new one? Thanks!
Sorry to hear about the horrible fate of your old iPad. Apart from all the social features, your High Score is the only thing that's connected to your Facebook account. All other game data - characters, coins, keys, boards ect. - is saved locally on your device. So it really depends on your specific case. Feel free to contact our Support Team via our Support Page. They will be able to help you with the specifics!
London 2014 Update Hey guys, The Surfers are running the tracks of London in December! In London you can add Buddy the jolly Snowman to your crew, and he has brought an extra outfit for when its sunny outside. As a special treat for the Holiday month the new update includes Weekly Hunts that reward you with secret presents after completion. The new Coin Counter Awards have also been added. Here the big challenge is to collect an exact amount of coins. You can also upgrade your Big Kahuna board with Smooth Drift, or add Double Jump to your Freestyler board. I hope you will have fun in snowy London. Feel free to leave your feedback and questions right here.
Welp, I finally ran low on my coin stash xD. I won't be able to keep up with the new characters at this rate :< I've stopped buying the boards a long time ago. Really wishes I brought the coin doubler back when I used to play this game nonstop. Anyways, enough of that. =) I'm having trouble logging in to Facebook. I'm connected to university Wifi and signed into Facebook, however, when I click the ingame notice, it says, "Could not login to Facebook." =/
Yeah, Double Coins is probably the best Boost in the game Sorry you are having problems logging in to Facebook. Have you tried this? 1. Go to your iDevice's Settings 2. Go to the Facebook tab 3. Turn the Subway Surfers tab off and on.
Hey thanks, it worked... or rather I checked the FB tab and found out that FB features were initially turned off e.e hehe Anyways, thanks Kiloo.
is this update really getting heavy? or it is now incompatible with ios 6 or ipod 4? my subway surfer always force close after title loading never play again after this update already try restart ipod, but still can't work at all
Sorry to hear that. Even though it's an older device, it should still be possible to play the game on an iPod 4. Sometimes it helps to free up space on your device in general. That could be the issue. Also, please try enabling Airplane Mode. This way you can determine if the issue is due to connectivity problems - which is often the case when the game doesn't go further than the loading screen.
Did anybody achieved the award "High Jumper" wear super sneaker 3 minutes in a row. Is there any trick? Thanks for help
