You shouldn't be receiving any ads, if you've purchased the Coin Doubler. It's a bug and we'll have it fixed as soon as possible.

    Sorry to hear that.

We have had other reports about the iPod 4 and iPhone 4.
It seems that those two devices' performance are generally suffering from the iOS 7 update.

Our support team might have some ideas on how to tweak the performance - you can reach them the team at [email protected]

no worries, i fixed it!, restarted my ipod, cleaned some caches and quit multitasking, it works fine now, but i had a question about the game itself, is there any way you people could add the themes from all the cities in the world tour?, i missed a few and i woud still like to run in rio and others, maybe a new theme store?

Great to hear that you got it to working and thanks for the suggestion.

It's something that a lot of people suggest and are really excited about. I know it has been mentioned in the forum before :)
We are currently working on a proper solution, we do have some app size challenges that we need to adress.
As you have probably already seen, we've started bringing back some old characters on occasion.

    Wow guys, nice update :)
I especially love the underground sign to give you the real Londen feel :)
But I had a little problem, the game kept crashing as soon as I opened it, so I redownloaded it.
Now all my money, characters, multiplier score, etc is gone, the only thing I have left is my high score :(
Is there a way to get my data back or do I have to regain everything?

Thanks for the kind words, C00l2Day!
I'm sorry to hear about the problems you have run into with our game.
It is an really unfortunate situation, as save files are stored locally on your device.
However, you might be able to retrieve the data if you've made a full device backup with iCloud recently, but be aware of possible rollbacks in other games if you decide to restore the backup!

I will advise you to contact our support team at [email protected] for further information - They will also be able to help you prevent this from happening again.

Yeah I have had to wipe and restore my iPad several times and ALWAYS backed up my data, including Subway Surfers, every time.Never had a problem, even when using a brand new iPad. Didn't lose even one hoverboard! I am not sure why Android devices don't offer the same thing. When I bought a new Android phone (went from an HTC Evo LTE to a Samsung Galaxy Note 2) I lost all my progress, boards, upgrades, and multiplier.

Consequently I DON'T play on my phone anymore. Not worth losing all my progress every time I upgrade a phone. But you can save your iPad completely on your computer, not just on iCloud, though I usually do both.

As for the update, love the look of it. You guys changed/enhanced the graphics, I noticed. Looks really beautiful. Love the shimmering coins and the white outline to all the lettering of things. Did you guys give the game a bump in graphics or just a little bit of a color scheme makeover?

One minor complaint: I am having a lot of trouble collecting the trees! Whenever I jump over anything with the sneakers, I collect everything under me, including powerups, coins, and, until now, hunt items.

It is really annoying to have to hit the little tree icon on the nose in order to collect it.

    Thanks for the feedback, ChiroVette!
We are aware of the Super Sneakers issue, and it will be fixed in the next update :)

    Great updates keep coming. Thanks!

Some feedback on the Pogo Stick: it's almost never worth it.

Picking up the Pogo Stick usually means giving up coins, and often means giving up a powerup, key, collectible, etc. (since those are only found on the ground).

You miss that stuff with the jetpack too, but the jetpack gives you a lot of coins and then lets you down safely. The pogo stick sometimes drops you to your death. Which can be avoided with skill, but why take the risk? So I never pick up pogo sticks.

Also the Missions for pogo sticks seem to reach absurd/impossible levels even while most other missions are still doable. It asks for way more pogo sticks in one run than I have ever seen--and each one risks death to get it. And it asks for huge numbers of pogo stick coins, which would take forever to get: each stick only gets you 6 or 8 coins most of the time.

Therefore, I skip pogo stick missions, removing that as a reason to pick them up.

I'm not sure how to fix it, but the pogo stick is pretty neat! Here are some thoughts on making it more tempting to pick up:

    1. Make the pogo stick ALWAYS (or more often) land you on the roofs. That's fun, but rarely happens.

    2. Make the pogo stick (like the jetpack) ALWAYS (or more often) land you safely. (Not dropping you blind in front of a tunnel with trains rushing out.)

    3. Include pickups when you're on the roof: something that gives it a benefit over the jetpack.

    4. Make the pogo stick missions easier (increase the number more gradually?) and/or have more varied missions: like picking up a power up while on the roofs, or scoring a certain number of points while on the roofs.

    5. Maybe allow a swipe-down to abort the pogo stick the way you can abort a sneaker jump. (Another benefit over the jetpack.)

    6. Maybe carry the pogo stick on your back when you're on the roofs, and a well-timed jump at the end of the roof would actually be a pogo jump, taking you just barely to the next roof (if any is coming up). So you could spend more time on the roofs.

    7. Have more varied coin patterns (like jump-arches) on the rooftops.

    8. Have some obstacles on the roof tops (chimneys? vents?)--something small that equals a one-lane barrier, just to add a little risk/interest/fun (and different again from the jetpack).

    Anyway, just some random thoughts!

    iCloud pleeeease. :)

I got a brand, spanking new iPad and I find myself playing on both iPhone and iPad everyday just to keep coins/unlockables/upgrades in sync.

Cool! I thought maybe you guys did it on purpose to make the hunt collections a little more challenging. Not the worst thing in the world, to be honest, though admittedly a bit frustrating. ;)

Onto a little constructive criticism about the current 24 Hour Event.

Its a seriously fantastic idea in theory, but in practice I think it was poorly thought out. Honestly, you guys have managed to implement an event that will be pretty much completely useless to 99% of the people playing this game, even ones like me who play it a lot! Why? Well, think about how insanely rare the Jackpots are in this game. Admittedly, since I buy tons nd tons of mystery boxes (because they are the cheapest way to stockpile boards, keys, and Score Boosters) I get a 100K jackpot every now and again. Hell, I got one yesterday. But to put things into perspective: I have been playing this game for over a year now and I got ONE Super Mystery Box jackpot in the entire time I have been playing! ONE! I bought my iPad waaaay back in January and play so much that I have about 6.5 million coins, 17.5 thousand hoverboards, 1,700 score boosters, and use both boards and score boosters a great deal. Yet I have NEVER seen a super mystery box "jackpot" on my iPad, only once on my Android phone maybe a YEAR AGO. lol

Seriously, the only way to make this event meaningful to...well just about anyone playing this game...would be to either increase the odds of hitting jackpots OR to make this a month or two long event. But 24 hours?

lol I would love to see stats on how many people actually collect this jackpot, even among people who play as often as I do. :p

Edit: okay, I decided to try a bit of a tedious experiment (somewhat of an understatement). I spent the better part of the last two hours buying Mystery Boxes and did a few runs in order to complete challenges. I only unlocked about 5 Super Mystery boxes because most of my time was spent purchasing regular mystery boxes a 500 coins a pop. In all that time, I managed to get two Super Jackpots (900 thousand coins each) which is pretty cool, but still no super mystery box jackpots on this iPad at all. Would LOVE to get at least one super mystery jackpot at least before the 24 hour special ends lol. But anyway, it looks like I either got lucky (I must have bought about three hundred boxes) getting two jackpots or maybe the devs slightly increased the odds of getting the jackpots for this one day special? Anyone else noticing increased jackpot frequency with this 24 hour special? I am still not convinced that I didn't just get lucky.

    Great feedback, Adams Immersive!
The Power Jumper definitely has some unfortunate landing spots for time to time - We are working on smoothing out the situations, so it doesn't happen that often.
The Power Jumper is a relatively new powerup and we are yet to discover all the possibilities - Originally we just wanted to give players more airtime and that special rollercoaster feeling.
With that being said, I think your feedback has some very good points - A powerup should definitely have more pros than cons.
We have plans of including the roof section a lot more in the game, and the Power Jumper is just the first step of this process.
Adding powerups or different coin formations onto the roof is a great idea and I love the thought about making use of those "empty" spaces - It will certainly make it more entertaining.

We are in general doing everything we can to make powerups fun and enjoyable and I think the Power Jumper has a great potential of becoming just that :)

Oh! and we will take an extra look at the Power Jumper missions and see if anything needs adjustment!
