Yeah, I'm running on iPhone 4S, and I'm having no lag issues. I remember back when SS wa first released and before I got a new device, my iTouch 4g couldn't even get through the beginning of the runs.
Great question I could definitely see the arguments for changing it along with the graphics. However, feedback from our community tells us that the music is a big part of the gameplay and the whole "feel" of the game. Weve decided to keep the music the same for now, so it doesnt interrupt too much with how people play the game.
I know the feeling... Had to let my good old 3GS go earlier this year. The iPhone 4 is still a great device, even though it is getting up there in age! We are still testing and supporting our games on the iPhone 4, and in general doing everything we can to optimize Subway Surfers as much as possible but they do have some limitations unfortunately.
Yeah, I can't really play runner games on my iphone 4 anymore. So sad. I play SS exclusively on my iPad 3 now. I've been thinking about getting an iPod Touch 5g though, how does this game run on that? Anyone here have one of those?
See, this is why I try so darn hard not to complain... Ran a few times over the past couple days... nothing. No lag. Perfect. Idunnowhattosayhere... Have I mentioned how pleasing the little added things you guys do with the camera and angles are? Please do let the gang know they're not going unnoticed... DBC
Game Impressions update to the moscow episode is awesome. no lag (or minimal) on Samsung Galaxy SII (compared to previous episodes). Good work. Looking forward to the "other features that have been mentioned" in the threads
Hi guys! I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but we've just added a new feature for Subway Surfers - We call it the "24-hour event" and from time to time it will pop up with new exciting features In the next 24 hours it will be possible to find Super Mystery Boxes on the Subway tracks! Let me know what you think.
Bug in the event maybe? I've been picking up Super Mystery Boxes, but they haven't registered at the end, so I didn't get anything out of them. In case it matters: I have also (by luck) found a regular Mystery Box every game, and that DID register at the end; maybe there'a a bug where your Moscow Super Boxes don't work unless you didn't also find a regular box? (Mission-based Super Boxes continue to work, even when accompanied by a regular box.)
Was going to post this, so I might as well respond to you... I am noticing that many of my SMBs are, well, "attached" to other Power-ups. None of those have registered for me. I can however confirm that you can get more than one SMB in one run. That is to say, actually receive the rewards from multiple "Super" boxes at the end of the run. DBC
I assume we would be able to get multiple SMB in one run, even before we could if you would do the daily mission and complete a mission at the same time.
Thanks for the feedback, Adams Immersive and Drummerboycroy! We are currently experiencing some irregularities with the Super Mystery Boxes, where they spawn inside Power Ups. The issue might not get solved in this event, as we only have 24 hours. However, it will be fixed for any future events!
You could also extend the event to perhaps 48 hours, and relieve some of that pressure upon yourselves.
Confirmed--that's it! Most of the SMBs were overlapped with other stuff, and in fact they were the only kind I saw for the first part of the day. But toward the end of the day I did get a couple "plain" SMBs which opened just fine. Sounds like the issue has been caught in any case.
Game Impressions hi (on android) i have been noticing that whenever i use the "key" after getting caught there are coins hanging in the air (as though its missing the objects below) and its only one half. i seen it stick out of trains as well (at the rear) it appears something like below (ignore the leading dots.) ... . 0 0 .. 0 .0 0 /mo --galaxy SII
If I'm reading you correctly, it's something that also happens when you use Surfboards (What?! I use them when missions call for them!). I don't think it's a glitch per se, but more of a programming thing to assure that you don't immediately run into a train, whatever, when you respawn... that "empty spot" below the coins was likely something quite solid. Jeppe can correct me, but I'm pretty sure that's what you're seeing (or I guess not seeing... lol). DBC
Subway surfers facebook? I'm really confused!? I linked subways surfers and Facebook and when I'm playing one of my Facebook friends(and always the same one) picture shows up in my game under my coins that I'm collecting? What is that all about? When I log out of Facebook there is just a gereric pic of someone in my Game Center that has no pic.. Why are they getting points from my gameplay? Attached pic
That is correct, DBC Whenever a Save Me or a Hoverboard is used to respawn, the track ahead is cleared. This occasionally leaves coins hanging in the air, as the solid object below them was removed.
The picture you are referring to, is the profile picture of one of your friends from Facebook or Game Center. The reason why the points on the picture are decreasing, is to show you how far away you are from beating your friends score - They do not get any of the points you score When you beat your friend's score, it will change the picture to your next friend on the highscore list.
No offense to the OP, but this literally made me lol. Keep surfing, man, we're all in this together! Talk about social gaming... DBC
