Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it! No it definitely shouldn't slow you noticeably down, we'll have to optimize that. Right now it's mainly Gamecenter that's causing problems, but hopefully we'll have it worked within a very short time. And let me just say once again that we are truly overwhelmed by all the amazing feedback that Subway Surfers has been receiving. A big thanks to you all from Kiloo Games and Sybo Games. Enjoy the weekend!
So, I almost posted this a bit ago, but... Am I the only one who wonders if there is a GC problem, I mean beyond certain games? I only ask because I have many games that don't seem to like GC all so much, and I'm beginning to find it odd that developer after developer has to patch their otherwise pretty well running games because of a "GC issue..." Does someone smarter than me have any ideas on why GC is so often an issue? DBC
I was thinking about the same issue. This is the most common problem with every game. GC slows the game or even make it crash more often. I have also a question. I have an objective right now: "Bump into 4 barriers". Which one is the barrier? Bump into means bump into that and do not die? How should I do it?
-I always die when jumping from and to a moving train, controlls gets clunky -graphics needs to be smoothed out, tons of jaggies --don't like the fact that coins fly out of trains when using the magnet -menus and intro need to be smoothed out
I can definietly agree with point 4. The fact that "coins fly out of trains"... They are just under this moving train. It's obvious that we get them while using magnet. The GC thing sucks... I can't do the objective "beat 1 friend" now because I can't even go to settings while GC is active... I have to skip this one.
My personal little dislikings of this brilliant game are: Get the GC issue done (hopefully), don't need my GC picture and highscore on screen (distracting a bit) and important to me, please, move (as an option) the time-bar on top or at least down to the right side, 'cos playing with the left thumb (most i guess) hides the view ! I need to know how much i got left when it gets hectic. Other than that: If Temple Run had a sequel, it should be something huge like this fun game. On top of all are the top-notch controls. Kiloo rocks again ! $-support in the next minute. Edit: Again, a game i'd wish for a pure leaderboard. May the skilled one be the one !
Don't know if it has been reported, but I can't see the missions: there's nothing but a blank space next to the checkboxes on the missions screen.
Close the multitask, delete and re-download, reboot etc. Do the "procedure", it might help. Hope you didn't invest to much time already.
Personally, I'd rather just have these as options, because I like having my GC picture pop up. Also, seeing as I play with my right thumb... By the way, what do you mean a "pure" leaderboard.
I've looked at Kiloo's games... God! U guys have to be some kind of geniuses... All of ur games are excellent and Subway Surfers is the next recognisable game. This one will definietly be in the history of iOS gaming Grats.
The thing that stands out to me most (apologies if it's already been stated) are the animations in this game. So much personality in the movement, with lots of really nice touches like the difference in gates between the fancy shoes and non-fancy shoes runs. Even the hopping back and forth between tracks feels really solid. Since you're staring at the back of the character's head for the bulk of the game, these little touches really take up the slack for no facial expressions. Just another layer of polish on this fine runner!
Oh, that is good to know. Thank you! I'm still not loving the shoes, but I'm not-loving them less than before.
I can't log out of Facebook so I see my gamecenter high score score with my wife's name and Facebook pic? Anyone know how to log out of facebook? I logged out of her account and logged into mine but her name and score are still beside my name. Any one had this problem?
No matter tall or short, they are all barriers. You are right, to bump means to hit the object without getting killed. To do this, find some short barriers, and delay your jump so that you just stumble over it. You can also do this with tall barriers, but this requires you being on top of a train or wearing Super Sneakers. Another way to do this is to find some lone barriers with nothing next to them. You can then bump into the sides of the barriers. Hope this helps.
