Subway surfer is not able to connect to Game Center or facebook

Hi, subway surfer on my iPhone is not able to connect to Facebook or game center. It used to work absolutely fine but stopped working after I installed one of the game upgrades. I am currently running the latest version of iPhone and Facebook, can someone help me?

    Wait. WHAT?!

Are you saying that other people can see what I'm writing, like in this post right now?

BTW, think the Keys are not good, but not overly concerned one way or the other. It's an obvious way for Kiloo to make a little more cash, in a pretty creative way.

One constructive thing I would offer (repeating what others have already said) is that I DESPERATELY wish there were leaderboards for no boards, no keys, etc.

I broke 2 million without boards or keys, and it only matters to me atm. It would be AWESOME to compete "even-steven" with my GC friends...

And not just the leaderboards. But those could potentially become actual gameplay modes, adding new layers to the game. No coin doubler mode, no power ups, etc. Jeppe said he'd mention the leaderboards idea to the team last week. Wonder if they touched that subject and what their resolution was. :)

Jeppe, here's a suggestion for a future location or maybe even a spinoff after the world tour: THE MOON! Being chased by an alien. Why keep the Subway Surfers gang confined to a single astronomical body? :p

    Uhm... I wasn't actually talking to you.;):D

Seriously though, I don't know how hard it would be, but I would LOVE either the GC change or the mode additions.

Again, I don't hate the Keys, h3ll, who knows, I might even use them at some point, but MAN, do they ever render the leaderboards moot. I mean, seriously and completely null and void.

Re: The Moon? Again, not sure about the programming, but can you IMAGINE if Kiloo could get the roundness into the equation? Like really capture the sense of circling a finite sphere? Whoa.

Speaking of which, has anyone else noticed any of those SWEET new camera moves? They are very subtle and hard to notice, but when you do? Someone put some time in on them, and I hope Kiloo lets them know from me that their work did NOT go unnoticed...:D

Kiloo remains one of the master development teams at putting in little flourishes that make you go "Ooooooo..." every time you play their stuff...

Don't worry, because it's too late. You should have considered this before you write all your previous posts. Stop reading. You are not supposed to see this. Move your cursor away. NOW.

To be honest, I am a bit disappointed to see the introduction of Keys. The thing I liked about Kiloo was their unobtrusive IAP - it's there when you need it, and you are not forced into buying anything:

They have long been keeping their promise, but the Keys are just not the same kind of thing. I have always been wondering why Subway Surfers has only one form of currency, and here comes the second one, with real money.

The problem is: it's too obvious. It's not the usual, subtle, periodic improvements and additions to a game. Of course they cannot go on with the World Tour forever, and eventually they would have to come up with something new. But not this one, not the Keys.

The players' skills improve over time. As a game matures, there has to be new challenges to keep people playing. With more and more people hitting the score cap, and hackers polluting the scoreboard, there is a real concern to come up with a new, harder game mode to retain the existing players, as opposed to lowering the difficulty when the score has gradually lost its meaning. This game is already very easy and intuitive. There is no need to make it easier.

Subway Surfers is a great game. There is no doubt about that. But any future actions will be critical in determining whether it will continue to be a success or gradually fall to mediocrity.

So while we are waiting for a change, why not have fun with our nice little challenge with no boards or keys? Here's my recent attempt at this. Enjoy.

Impressive score. I'm definitely willing to challenge it! Hope you can take my word (and screenshots) for it as I have no recording devices.

Regarding change, I doubt it's gonna be in the form of removing the keys. They have already been introduced to the public, I don't think they can just yank them away. Yet, I'm crossing my fingers for the leaderboards and the game modes we've been talking about. Hey, even if they decide to charge for those game modes I'm more than willing to purchase them. Because let's face it, game modes that require no powerups, no keys or no hoverboards work AGAINST making money. Quite possibly the only logical solution is to pay for those modes if they were to be implemented.

As much as it saddens to think that the Hail Mary Keys signify Subway Surfers reaching financial stagnation, it might help them decide (providing they boost sales) if Subway Surfers is worth dedicating their time to or if they should move on to other projects...possibly a sequel.

Then again, all this is pure speculation. It's just so out of the blue that all one can do is wonder.

I doubt if there is financial stagnation. Having a game among the Top Free list should yield a good sum of money. But one thing is certain, we can rule out the possibility of a sequel: The secret to player engagement: never release a sequel

Thanks a lot for the articles, I'm very happy to read that my worse case scenarios are apparently not the situation here. I'll just go back to crossing my fingers for the leaderboards, game modes and redhead female character. :D

...and tapping on those AdColony incentivized videos to support Kiloo.

you have no right to talk to me like that, ive actually come up wtih good ideas, so think before you call me not constructive and i said no one has to use the keys if they are so freaking lame and annoying, i said that to tukkun because he complained about them, this is a forum where we come with ideas and updates not complain...

If the keys are "so freaking lame and annoying", I guess it would be very interesting to see who actually came up with that idea in the first place.

I would leave this for the rest of us to judge whether such a suggestion is constructive or not.

im not the one disliking the keys, tukkun is, im the one that wanted them along with many others and its a decent way of earning more money which is important if any of us want more updates as it cost to make updates and new themes...
and for my long comment which suggestions, ive seen similare things in other games so thats how i know they would be good to add sometime in the future:)

Hi everyone, thought I just chime in.

Definitely appreciate your feedback, its the only way for us to hear what you guys want to see not just in Subway Surfers, but in all of our upcoming games for 2013 and beyond.

Furthermore, I'm glad to see so many dedicated players still following Subway Surfers with great interest. This game has become bigger than we could possibly have imagined. We are aware of the current potential leaderboard implications and would of course still prefer to keep the game very competitive going forward. I don't know if you guys have seen a change in your personal leaderboards on GC or Facebook, but would love to know.

As I mentioned, we've got great plans for keeping monthly updates in Subway Surfers, some filled with suggestions from our users, and I will keep you posted on any new features as they launch.

    Hey Jeppe,

Well in my case I saw many of my
GC friends triple and even quadruple their high scores the day after keys were introduced.

The hell, you mean I can't complain about something in a forum?

My issue with the keys is less with leaderboards being ruined as I have very few "friends" (and when I want to compete with them I just meet them somewhere in real life and have someone watch to make sure nobody uses boards or keys), but rather, how annoying it is. Crashed? Well, here's 10 seconds for you to accidentally use a key and waste some money! Yes, I'm aware that I can tap outside to skip the "save me" but I would like an option to disable keys altogether.

But, of course, I would love separate leaderboards too. Keys have made the game too easy. I'm sure I could reach over 50 million if I actually went for it. But I don't think that's fun. It's ridiculous.

Another, um... "complaint" (more of a suggestion actually): I've seen my real life friends who play Subway Surfers avoid the Super Sneakers A LOT (they avoid it as if it's some kind of plague). Now that one of the two things Super Sneakers were good for is gone, I actually tried to avoid it too and found that it actually makes the game somewhat easier for some reason. With Super Sneakers, accidental death by touching the ceiling or failing to notice the powerup timer (jump over a train thinking you still have high jump) is very common. So, how about a level 7 powerup upgrade that allows you to turn a powerup on/off (like in Temple Run, or just make it a free feature), and when a powerup is turned off it will be replaced with a coin bag that contains 50~100 coins or so? I think that might be actually great. I'm kind of sick of getting the double multiplier powerup when I don't care about highscores, getting coins instead will be great too.

I wasn't saying it to you. You seem to have no idea how forums work. Just because I quote your post and write one line to reply to it, doesn't automatically mean the entire post is meant for you only. Things you write in the forum are for everybody to read, not for a specific person.

If you still don't understand why I wrote that post above, you should probably get some more reading comprehension skill as well.

Regarding the whole thing with keys and item costs, now that I think about it, it's probably good for the developers to make some extra money with IAPs (and the powerups are quite useless anyway) so it's okay. The keys are totally OP though (unless you can only use one per run or cost doubles after every use in a single run? I haven't used it yet so I can't tell). All I want now is probably separate leaderboards for "no keys + hoverboards" and a button in the Options menu to disable keys so I'm not asked for a second chance whenever I crash. Seriously, the whole "save me" thing is annoying.

Well, I have finally lost interest in this game. For the first time since its release I have decided NOT to earn enough coins to unlock the limited items. I just don't feel compelled anymore. The game has started to feel more like work than fun, and when a game stops being fun it is time to quit. I will keep the game on my device, in hopes that a future update might breath new features into the game, but as of right now, I'm done.
