I had enough saved up for Kim and Great White! What a great update. I'm loving the vibrant color scheme and the openness of the architecture. It's a treat! Great job on the update guys! And thanks for it!
Hmmm, I may have to stock pile coins for 30 days before updating than. Thanks for the heads up Tukken.
Question. First of all. Great update. Now my question is. Is there a trick anybody knows to get 300,000 coins in a mission box. My wife has done it twice now. Wtf. I gotta get all my coins the hard way
There is no trick aside from playing constantly to increase the odds and having tons and tons of luck! I've played this game every single day since it came out. And I've only gotten a 10,000 coin box once!
Yes, and the "guy" with the "thing" told me to tell you, "Purple monkey Coltrane dishwasher, but marble yes Geronimo..." DBC
Game Impressions Well, here is my feedback. Everything I wrote is strictly in my opinion and newer players should not judge and try the games out for themselves. First, I would like to say I own Subway Surfers, TR2 AND Sonic Dash. I have played this game for so long now. When I got it, I could not put it down, especially not until I fought for the 30x multiplier. But eventually I got it, so what was left was highscores. The Facebook integration was very interesting, and some of my friends had what seemed like ridiculously high scores (past 30m range). You see, I seldom used hoverboards as I viewed them as ripoff. But somewhere near 20x multiplier one run I managed to use all 12 I owned - continuously and smashed my previous high score by quite a lot. From then on, my tactic was to start and continuesly hover after hitting 200k score. I myself has smashed 10m score, and I feel Subway Surfers is the easiest runner I've ever played. It takes quite a long time to achieve that score, but after hoverboards expire there is barely a timer to continue using them. And so you instinctively do, rendering you invincible unless you unlikely crash in the 5 seconds or so of 'cooldown'. Gameplay doesn't interest me anymore, and jetpacks always direct you to some forest for the time being. Sonic Dash is much worse, I'll admit that due to their iap model. But then again it's MUCH harder. Finally, there is TR2, which I view as the best free runner. It offers originality, the upgrade curve seems reasonable, and your death never seems cheated or unfair. There is also no hoverboards which prevent you from dying 98% of the time, so a death is a death. By the time you play for a while you should be able to resurrect 4-5 times per run, but your crystal balance stays the same as you more or less earn them back in your runs. Finally, from my time at playing SS I've thought of a million ways to improve on the game, starting with lowering the effectiveness of hoverboards, which only serve to prolong the game and give people another chance.
Redownloaded Subway Surfers to check out the new Australia level and must say that this game is literally the best endless runner besides Jetpack Joyride on the app store Some of the best graphics and the BEST controls hands down. Would love to see some upgradeable attributes or some new GAMEPLAY mechanic as opposed to only aesthetic upgrades. Ive supported you devs with at least 2-3 coin bag purchases in the past year and still thinking about the $5 coin doubler but waiting to see if you will release a new Subway Surfers game or some new gameplay mechanics. What say you devs?
Wow u mean to tell me that all ss is is an endless runner where u compete for high scores !! And exactly how does that differ from temple run or and other endless runner? Well besides the fact that ss get regular updates with new boards characters and levels How many updates has temple run 2 had? One. To fix graphical problems that should have been dealt with before its release. Ss 2 would be awsome and I'm sure one day it will come I have alot of games on my phone and none get the love these devs put into subway surfers and it fans.
what's so funny about that? most people pirate games via jailbreak and dont ever bother supporting devs especially with free games the fact that ive spent near 5 dollars already is enough considering some people play free games and complain about them nonstop ive supported the devs, im asking when new gameplay mechanics or a sequel is coming out, whats the problem?
If all these great updates aren't worthy of your measly five dollars, nothing will be. "I gave you five bucks, now I own you monkeys! If you want ANOTHER five bucks, make this game BETTER!...I dunno how, just do it!" ... "Gameplays! That's it! Fix the gameplays!" "Oi, I've done enough for today, gotta get back to my throne"*Farts*. How bout you suggest actual ideas next time?
Glad you like the update! The art-team have been doing quite some research to capture the surroundings of Sydney - I'm sure they are pleased to hear it was worth the effort
Can you add the option to change themes? I'd like to play on the old stages again. I thought the Halloween one was the best!
Ive suggested actual gameplay ideas in previous paragraph long posts and have been ignored, no need to type them out again
Keys? Interesting! They never showed up yesterday after the update though. I just got the notification tonight after I crashed and saw the "Save Me" prompt.
It was weird that it didn't show up the first time. I only saw this the second day after the update.
And on top of that not even being mentioned in the "What's New" portion of the App Store description either...or in Jeppe's release notes a few posts back. Hope it's reveal was deliberate.
