I still haven't figured out what „long shot“ is all about. Unfortunately, I still have unanswered questions. What do you have to do with the red magnetic (?) balls? Why is one card always white marked at the top left corner, when starting a levelset, even though no card is selected? Is a levelset (REGULATION) also a card? Why is „REGULATION“ sometines written „Regulation“ (for example in the speechbubble at the lower border)? What is a „kick shot“? What is a „trickshot“? Greetz Chris
Hint: Play the game Ordia once, and you will experience the best way to solve this kind of problem. This type of input method could have easily been adapted to this game too imho. Rymdkapsel is imho still your best game. Still loving it. Greetz Chris
Yeah. This one isn’t that hard. Also to answer some other questions from other posts: - Stages are cards - Long shots are when you hit the ball when it is far away from the hole - Hunter balls track the cue ball - Trickshots is anything that appears over the hole after a ball goes in (back to back, kick shot, long shot, posthumous, etc.) - Kick shot is when you bounce off the wall before hitting a ball
Good call with Ordia. Still hope maybe this could be an option in the future and Ordia is indeed a good example.
I don't know if this is by design or what, but I seem to never get challenges on the 3 balls after chonker and hunter Spoiler crystal, locker, and splitter , even though I've had them for a while. I've only done 34 challenges so far, so maybe they just come later. Just wanted to check. I am really enjoying the game though!
So I might have spoke too soon, but something weird is happening. I got a challenge to break a crystal 4 times. I failed to do that on a game and now the challenge doesn’t show up anymore. However when I go to the 3 bar menu in the top right and then come back, that challenge shows up. Every time I go to that menu it seems to be switching between ball challenges for some reason. The two images are what it keeps switching every time I go to the menu.
the game will reorder challenges to try and keep them fresh, it will prioritize challenges for new unlocks and downrank any challenges for cards you recently completed a challenge on. BUT, it shouldn't switch them out once they're showing. if you could use the "request support" button in options and send me an email, i'd love to have a look at that save!
Loving this game! Need to stop playing, real life is suffering. One question, what exactly is “back to back”? Is that when you shoot before the cue ball stops moving or when any ball is moving or something? Can’t trigger it reliably. also just noticed you can start lining up the next shot while the balls are still moving, while the balls are where you need them. Very sneaky and I love the slow motion effects that come with it. if you’re looking for suggestions more tutorial would be nice - probably just one dialog box with a description of each ball type the first time they appear and a description of each trick shot the first time you have to do it in a challenge would do it, and maybe a page you can go to to read them all again later. right, back to playing. I mean work. (But really I mean playing.)
One more thing, I’ve had games where the chonker balls start to close to the holes and fall in while you’re still aiming. Counts as a multi pocket for that turn, which is nice.
I’ve only ever had challenges on the first 2/4 courses, the first 3/5 balls and the of the 7 modifiers I’ve got unlocked I’ve only had them on fixed start and no bounce line. I’ll send a save too.
One more - trying to get flawless on 4 tables I think I’ve seen the counter go down? So if you get flawless on the first three tables then make two mistakes on the fourth the counter actually goes back down to two
