$3? That's nice. One dev? Wow, I can't believe you built this game all by yourself, that's impressive.
It is very impressive what you've been able to create, while doing it all just by yourself. I'd love to review this on my site when its ready...looks fantastic!
Hey everyone! I bring you exciting news that MiniSquadron has been submitted to the App Store for approval! Check out www.minisquadron.com for a NEW gameplay video and some new screenshots too! I need a lie down!!
OMFG!!! HELL YA! Def buying this the second it comes out! Some of th eships are really hard to get, so definitely replayability, and don't forget th e8 different levels, and numerous weapons. I really can't wait. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!
YES! It looks really cool, I'm getting it too! Is there multiplayer in this version, or will it be coming?
Game looks great, I have a question though was Altitude an influence to your development because it looks pretty similar. Also in that game there are structures which you can manuver around to lose your enemy which makes flying around pretty entertaining too does this game have that or will it ever? My last question is, is there only one multiplayer mode just deathmathch? Is there teamdeathmatch or even capture the flag? Anyways the game looks great, good luck with apples approval.
Hi! Firstly - Bluetooth multiplayer will be looked into in the upgrade Secondly - I have had a lot of people pointing me to Altitude, and I can say that I had never seen Altitude until the game was almost finished in development. The games do look similar but there are plenty of differences to mark mine out, and most importantly mine was designed for the iDevices from the offset. I would happily admit to basically saying that I played BiPlane/Jetstrike, and wanted to make a version of that for the iPhone with lots of planes and also some Octopii Neither of our games are completely (if at all) original - but I hope both of ours are of great quality and fun for all! In particular - my slant on the genre is definitely more on the odder enemies and planes along with a combo system (always refining), and more about hiscores and unlocking planes. Maybe Altitude has that but I see that game as way more concentrated on a Multiplayer experience than mine - and like I said before - it is definitely something that is signicantly cool. I haven't got any in-game structures currently - although I am planning on something like that for the Update. Deathmatch is all you've got for now, Co-op mode could be included in a *further* future Update (as opposed to the first one).
Oh ok sounds great, I wasn't trying to say you had immitated it in anyway, I was just wondering if you knew about it and if you would incorporate any of those modes or ideas into your game, I hope you didn't think I was trying to compare your games together to put you down or anything. Anyways cant wait till this game hits the store going to be an instant buy for sure.
No no! I didn't take any offense whatsoever but I actually wanted to say how it's pretty damn cool that there is already a massively multiplayer BiPlane War game, and to answer a question I get quite a lot I'll probably actually go now and have a proper go on it to see what they've done!!
I had a dream last night that Mini Squadron was released, and it just wasn't that fun. Good thing it looked absolutely nothing like the real thing! If I'm having freakin' dreams about it, I must be looking forward to it!
Blimey! I don't want MiniSquadron giving people nightmares!!!! Front page newspaper for all the wrong reasons haha! Actually - I made a small "behind the scenes" explanation about the beginning of MiniSquadron - those early screenshots certainly gives ME nightmares! http://tinyurl.com/yly8vxm
