    Yes, there's no online requirement.

Which ship and weapons do you use?

I'm using the Tornado with the LRG-400 and the Quantum MG. (all fully upgraded) I could probably get better weapons, but I'm saving up my cash for the $180k Supernova ship.

I am a sucker for launch sales.. Pretty awesome game so far. It does have a FTP vibe, aka highly polished, a variety of interesting casual hooks, a Shop, etc.. No complaints from me!

Respect, you are much better than me. I have the Tornado too, with the lvl 6 Laser, level 8 Railgun and the expensive missiles (all almost fully upgraded now). And I got my butt handed in Cateye Stage 3 before I started upgrading ( could be because I'm tired, too. I'll try again tomorrow after a good night's sleep ;) )
I wouldn't worry about cash, I blew out close to half a million already. Yeah, it gets a bit grindy, but it's easy enough to come by.

Heythis looks pretty good. I have one question though. How does this compare to stellar wanderer? I love SW but manticore and GOF are not rly that snuff. Thanks guys

Apple TV universal! Looks like a no-brainer! Thanks CM for another great title!

hmm its faster pace and more arcadey than SW. Very intense dogfight type stuff.

This is top shelf. I love the simplicity and brevity of (at least in the first sector) the missions as well as the variety of modes. Nice clean menu & options galore. The fighting is really fun and I'm just using the starter ship - looking forward to finding the materials to craft the first exclusive ship. Also, multiple save slots as well as a separate iCloud save spot. Five stars all the way guys.

That good? I own stellar wanderer. Josh said it's different, but I fear sameyness (not a word, I'm sure)

They are distinctly different. Like Josh said, SW is much closer to a sim if anything, while this is more on the "fun" side of the spectrum.

Well, I'm easy to push off the fence, and I like fun, so I'm in. Thanks.

I'm on the fence, please help by answering this question:

Does this game have an "end"? I understand there's a main storyline, but can you continue to play in more of an "open world" style after completion?

War.....war never ends. Don't know. It's pretty slick and different than SW. Low and behold...it is fun

I like space games, and I like CM games...I truly miss GOF2 vibes also, but this looks like a fun diversion from my craving for full openworld space combat/trading simulation #

    Bought!

Man, the difficulty curve takes a sudden leap at mission 4 in the Kongelar system. This is getting tough!

Crescent Moon is one of the best publishers on iOS! I like that they stick to premium titles and not all this silly free2play nonsense! I hope they will continue to support iOS. They also show respect to the customer with high quality iOS titles!

Just got there too, taking quite the beating in Kongelar mission 5.
Upgrading my ship to the Polaris now and replacing the LRG-400 Railgun with that big Proton Cannon; was hoping I could skip that and go straight for the Supernova ship.
    That's gonna take some grinding.

This game looks insane! Does it have cloud saving and any IAP?
