    Aha, those graphics look pretty good, and i think this game looks like it would be fun :D

    I was glad to see that Strongholds made it through my OS 3.0 update, and am really looking forward to the 1.6 update. This game is still front page on my Iphone.

    This post makes all sorts of sense :rolleyes:

    I would suggest to anyone to do themselves a favour and pick up Orions. I do have the expansions for my PDA but I had to pay for them. iPhone owners seem to think that the world should obey them and everything should be free.

    Don't bother with orions period. Go to this page:

    Download the MTG game with the mods (abandon ware, so its perfectly legal). Much better than Orions.

    Of course, this is for your PC, not your iPhone.

    Yes, tried it out briefly. Interesting new cards. And looks like the high score table has been reset again. So I get to be on for a brief period of time!

    Hiscore formula greatly changed.
    Hiscore table not has not been reset, its just new table for 1.6 and old for 1.5

    Whoa!

    Is it just me or has the AI just made a BIG jump in this latest build?

    I've only won one of my last three games and even that one was a VERY tough fight with me barely scraping ahead! :eek: If I could my finger on anything I think the AI has learned to put greater value on DESTROYING my infrastructure (barracks, factories, armories) and leaving me a weak limping pile of goo as he finishes up building his stronghold.

    THIS now is the game I was hoping for when I initially bought it at v1.4 or so.

    I've played it 7 times since the update.. won twice so far. It feels like the AI is on steroids right now... lol. Maybe I should change my tactics... or renew my luck! :)

    I got murdered by the normal AI, so I went back to easy mode to cool off.

    Okay gang, so power scoring questions here.

    First...what is the scoring system and how was it changed in v1.6?

    As I understand it in a very simplified sense it's something like:

    ((Damage Done - Damage Received) + Resources) / Cards Played

    So parts I'm not clear on:

    1) Does discarding still count as a card played?
    2) Is it total resources created or especially how many you have on hand at the end?

    And more options. Its balanced for all types of gameplay - long fights, short rush and all other.

    Need more reviews about 1.6, please tell us how it goes?

    Ummmm, how is 180000 possible? I finally got my wifi working and I see the highscores are pretty crazy.

    I'm pretty sure Strongholds has a permanent place on my iPhone. It's a ggod game post-updates. I just don't play it all of the time since I have 9 pages if apps. I try to play it atleast twice a weak. But again, it's a cool little game. Btw, is there anyway to add more variety to the animations?

    Not now. We didnt sell enough for multiplayer yet, and animations is not in 1st line of our update plans.
