Ok, so we are close to finishing 1.2. It's got so much stuff in it it's crazy. As before, things that are working and will be in the version (apart from what we've said earlier): - You can now flip the screen(yay) - Missiles got a big boost, so missile ships are "slightly" more powerful - We've improved the Hyena MK2 making it quite powerful. It was already very powerful against shield-heavy enemies. Now it's better against normal ships - The High Guard is coming. 3 new and advanced ships with an unique design. - We've got 2 new tutorial missions to ease-in people to the game's mechanics. One tutorial deals with basic controls and the other with capital ship assaults. Stay tuned for more
Applause! You folks are doing a great job there! Extra thanks for the screen flip You should make the High Guard a content pack. Wouldn't mind shelling out some bucks for it.
The High Guard is going to be a content pack. We can't release it for 1.1 because the build lacks certain data that the High Guard ships need and can't be supplied via the content pack system.
AWESOME. So was that post a complete update log, other than bugfixes? Or are there a few more surprises..?
I wouldn't mind some sort of iap for a future content expansion for story and such. Can't expect free updates forever.
@zergslayer We're taking that into consideration, however first we have to fix everything that was wrong with the game at launch, add more content to have our systems checked 100%, then we can focus on broadening the experience.
@JCho133 - Initially we had the sensitivity slider work for the stick controls, however we decided to remove that functionality because you could turn any heavy bomber into a very nimble fighter by maxing out the sensitivity. We want the fighter performance to be coherent across the board.
