It's consumable then? Coz it would feel stupid buying that with real money. Oh well, i guess it isnt for me.
Yes, it's consumable, and we only put it in there because some people may want to use them. They're however really useful to very good players who get high scores regularly, which would boost them to very high xp and credit gains.
Hi guys, just a quick update, here's some progress for 1.3. Render quality is greatly improved, and there are some more features in the works that we're not ready to talk about. Stay tuned
Looks lovely, can't wait to play 1.3 and beyond. Though as someone who preferred the ordinal Gourad shaded ships in Tie Fighter over the later textured versions (and midi music over the CD music) I'm a little sad.
Well, antialiasing will be irrelevant on retina devices. The screenshots are taken on one of the 2 non-retina devices that we support (ipad mini) . We're still in the process of tweaking performance and deciding which features go on what devices.
Crescent Moon says the new update should be hitting any minute. Anxious to see if there are other things added besides the graphical detail. This game really controls and already looks great. Still would love it to be fleshed out a bit more in terms of a campaign. Honestly, I'd pay for a sequel with a full, story-based campaign based on the work that's been done here. One of the best space dogfighting games already. EDIT: Update is out. Looks like some control improvements (including a floating virtual stick) and mostly fixes. No new content this time around. Still hope the game continues to evolve.
Gentlemen, here's what's new in 1.2.1 The update brings lots of stability fixes and control improvements as well as a brand new mission and two more achievements to be collected. In Guardian Raptor you must protect the Raptor convoy until it can escape through hyperspace. You will face advanced High Guard fighters backed by a hyperspace Interdictor. The full release notes: * Improved controls * Added floating virtual stick option * Added default cockpit * UI improvements * Fixed a crash when dying on collision * Fixed a bug where accelerometer input would randomly flip. * Slightly improved loading time * Other minor fixes and improvements * NEW MISSION: Guardian Raptor with 2 achievements and its own leaderboard
Stay tuned for the 1.3 change list Also, we really want your feedback on the new control improvements, especially if you're playing on iPhones/iPods
I almost kind of wish they'd introduce iap for a new set of missions or something so that support will continue and they won't feel like they're working for free.
Alright I tried out the new controls and they're weird.... It's like the ship has inertia now. But I like it! Also I experienced a crash when I started Flight Training to test out the new controls. It was right before it just as I was prompted to look at the waypoint
Thank you for your feedback. The ships always had inertia, but the small screen precision was too low for players to feel it. Also, some ships have higher inertia than others, so it depends on what you're using. As for the crash, we'll investigate Keep the feedback coming
Seems good so far. Like star paga but way better graphics! Just a q. What's happening with iaps. Most show free. Is this real? Edit. Never mind. Just tried. Full price but in the game just shows 0.00
@crazy_dad: All prices should be visible on the buttons if you have a stable active internet connection when you start the game. 0.00 appears only when the game can't access the app-store price database properly.
