    I second this, and respect that you would rather release the most polished product possible. Haha, I am so glad that you used fantasy rpg's as your first go at game dev and now everything you learned from is going to release the most polished game yet...and it's scifi space marine vs alien theme. As a huge 40k and xcom fan this is going be scratch one of my favorite itches #

    The new navigation system is looking really good now. Much, much better than the old system. The characters move really smoothly now to their final destination while realistically navigating around obstacles and other units. No more zig-zag movements or anything. Really happy with it.

    Otherwise, made a lot of minor tweaks and just prepping up the final build for submission today.

    will you backport the new movement to the Demons as well? This and the ugly Xs in the abilities were my final "bother points" which i notice they are now gone for Strike Team.
    A minor thingy from the trailer is that their legs keep moving a bit when they arrive at their destination for a second.
    But knowing you, it wont be long until you are making Xcom smooth animations :)

    Yep will be porting the new movement system to Demon's Rise 1 and 2 along with the better camera controls.

    For the start / stop animations, I may put an extra animation to make the characters stop running more realistically. Shouldn't be too hard but I haven't tested it yet.

    looking great! did i see a teleport in there?
    and could we have blood splatters and death animations? i saw them on WHQ2 and i can't stop thinking that they would look so good here too.
    I know i am asking a lot in each of your games, but when i see your progress and what you have achieved since the DR1.0 i just can't help it :)

    Yes, that was a teleport.

    There is ample blood splatter and death animation. I actually had to edit it out because you can't show blood on an App Preview.

    just wow. the bodies, flaming deaths and blood with creepy enemies as it should be! obviously buying when i see it pop up in the store :) excellent work as always!

    Thanks. I honestly believe this will be the top 5 games on the App Store in terms of graphics and special effects. Not only that, but it actually runs very well on a variety of hardware too. The graphics shown in the twich stream are actually on the low / medium setting.

    ow, should we be worried for heating/battery drain on the iphones? but even the low/medium settings look great.

    Thanks guys. I submitted an update to the launch version that includes a new character ... the futuristic version of the walking cannon. :)

    I decided to move the launch date ahead. So if Apple approve in time, I'll launch next week.
