Would it be possible to code smoother walk-to-target hex animation? Eg instead of pausing to turn when traveling on a diagonal, have the character walk more smoothly to the target?
I'd like to as well but it's probably a fairly hefty code change. So it's something I'll look at for all my games after the initial release.

Thanks ... progress is going well. I've done the first draft of all the player characters (10) and I'm now going through the campaign again and assigning correct stats, shoot effects, death effects and abilities to the enemy units. The suppression / morale rules are working very nicely so far in testing. The game has a very different feel than Demon's Rise because of the emphasis on shooting. However, the way suppression works, getting a melee fighter in amongst your enemies can be really effective. This is because when you have a melee fighter in amongst a tightly packed group of shooting warriors, if they each turn to shoot at the nearby melee unit, the friendly fire will have a really bad spillover effect on their allies and trigger mass suppression.
Here's today's video: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel This is the Infiltrator class. She has various stealth / cloak / hacking abilities and users a beam laser rifle. The weapon can be overcharged to shoot out a powerful beam shot in a straight line forward but doing so prevents her from shooting the following turn. The weapon needs to cool down. Let me know what you think.
This game looks great... will the characters be pre-generated? As much as i love your other two games, i kinda like to roll up my own toons. Keep up the good work!!
Pregenerated like earlier games. Never considered doing a character class builder design. Might be worth looking into for a future game.

Hey guys, Just wanted to let you know that stuff is still chugging along. I don't think I'll be doing a beta but will still hopefully release in late June. I'm in internal QA and polish stages which sometimes take a long time.
Timing of this couldn't be better. I just redownloaded Enemy Within to "scratch an itch". But I can certainly hold off for another month. Good luck on Launch Mr. D!
