Just curious, in that vid I only saw tilt steering. I'm very much hoping that touch steering will be available. I'm also assuming beta is closed?
So most people we've tested with preferred tilt steering, which you'll see when you play the game is necessary because you need great control to hit the Apex. We are looking at button control though, but not for the beta. If enough people in the beta request it we'll do it. Yes, it's a closed beta
The wait is almost over! Been waiting for this one a looooooooong time! So happy to see this coming soon! Would love to be a part of the beta testing and will go to the website and put my name in the hat. This made my day...I don't require much!. Congrats guys!!!

I get what you're saying about the precision required to apex corners, but once you launch I guarantee you will be flooded with requests for touch controls. A perfect corner can be achieved with equal ease via touch or tilt. If you want to see touch steer done excellently look no further than RushRally. I'm currently testing for RushRally2 and must attest that it is hands down the definitive iOS racing experience.
