Maybe there's something I don't know about damage scaling, juggling properties and combos, but Rolento's Ex Patriot Circle, j p, super is up to (as far as I know) a 22 hit combo (depending I assume on when exactly you hit the super) that does 500 max damage and has no damage scaling. Every move is 100% in training. His 8th challenge, Ex Patriot Circle, j p, cr k, super, is a 22 hit combo with scaling of 60% by the grenade blasts and does 426. What am I missing here?
Old scaling: 100%/100%/80%/70%/60%/50%/40%/30%/20%/10%/10% (10% for the rest) This is the same as volt New Scaling 100%/100%/100%/60%/60%/60%/20%/20%/20%/10%/10% (10% for the rest). That means that 3 hit combos are the most efficient, especially if the 3rd hit is a super. Cross arts count for 2 hits, so a 1 hit hit-confirm xx cross art is optimal I already posted Rolento's max damage combo. It's EX patriot circle (lvl 1 charge), EX Stinger, Super. Corner only for 560 damage. Another high damage one is EX Mekong Delta Attack (8 hits) xx super for 480. You need to be cornered to land the max 8 hits. Keep in mind with Rolento, his patriot circles, like all rekkaken-style moves are scaled as a separate hit for each portion
If you really want to be technical, the new damage scaling counts multi-hit moves such as rampaging demon (kazuya's b+p,k,p) as multiple 'hits' and such things as devastator chains. (i.e. each 'hit' is subject to additional scaling, if any). So instead of calling them 'discrete moves excluding optional permutations whilst including optional additional 1 hit variations such as Rising Sun to roundhouse,' I'm gonna call them hits. I hope that's ok with you!
So with Hugo's 10% boost for having a low tag bar (what's the name of that bar?), launcher, clap, super does 606. With Ex clap, it becomes 664! Wow!

They won't. How would the compatibility with older iPhones work then? Can't give the iPhone 5 extra real estate...just wouldn't work well. It's fine the way it is.
I keep getting "Here comes a new challenger" no matter what I do when I start a new match Also the commercials are buggy and not scaled to the screen right away, WTF?! I just bought it since I love playing fighting games on my iPad 3 (iOS 6.0.1) like MvC 2 but this is just sad
Fighting games require that both participants are seeing the exact same screen to be able to fight at the same time. If you blow up the app to fit the screen on iPhone 5, then you will either see black bars on the other iPhones, iPads or mess with the resolution on iPhone 5. If you keep it the way it is, you are keeping compatible with all previous iPhones and iPads.
Am I missing something?? Last time I tried MvC it was practically unplayable. They fix those horrible controls or add wifi?
I beat a random opponent yesterday night, and I was trying to have an arcade mode as Rolento. I didn't even get to swing his stick yet. Anyway, lol @ MvC is better. Last time I played that, I kept doing the shoryuken with Sakura every time I tried to do a hadouken. -_- Haven't touched it since.
