Am I right or wrong, but as the max bp you can get is 10 000, then your bps are more of less equal to your win ratio. example:

    win ratio= 86%
    bps = 8650

    works with me

of course it will works only you played more than 100 games online.

    Is this possible?

I hope that in the next update we have also on online forum where you can create team, exchange replay, play friendly etc. Because fighting ramdom people constantly if getting quickly boring.

Oh and I can wait for sakura too, just saying.

I've just unlocked the gauntlet mode at level 14, but levelling up is becoming hard. What's the next mode?

No, not with level four power. I'm skipping the level four gems to save for level five. But I'm considering getting one of the level three meter gems in the meantime.

It's a very good idea because lev3 are already very expensive, I'm gonna get the immense power one, max it and then save the rest for level 5 immense power. Thanks for that!

Yeah, if I remember correctly, the level three gems are 3k and the level four gems are 5k. I forget what the level five gems cost but they're obviously very expensive. Right now I have a little more than 10k in SP. I think I realy just want to mess around with the meter gems a bit to mix things up. Onslaught is somewhat popular but nobody really uses the proficiency gems. The latter seems good to constantly cross counter opponents. A lot of opponents play very safe in this game and I think cross counters are still a little underused because we only get three bars of meter.

By the way, does anyone know if you can combo after a cross counter? I haven't been able to do it in a match but haven't tried in training mode yet.

You can't combo after a cross cancel/counter. I use them mainly when I'm low in health.

This has already been explained before. Out of you last 100 matches it determines your bp. When you start the game for the first time you last 100 matches are 0. So when you complete 100 matches your first 2 numbers means the amount of wins of your last 100 matches and the other 2 numbers are related to you win streak.

Example. I have 85 wins in a row but ive lost 25 times on the last 25 matches and i have a win streak of 85 wins in a row. My bp will be 8585. (Alternate example. If i only have a win streak of 40 games and if won 85, my bp will be 8540)

Lets say i play 100 more games. If i loose anytime during the next 85 matches i will loose 100 points for each loss but if i win i wont win anypoints. After i play the 85 games, the next 25 matches if i win i will get 100 points but if i loose i dont loss points.

In other word a loss means you have to play 100 matches to erase it.
So the only way to get to 10k bp is to win 100 times in a row.

    I hope this helps.

Personally it's always a bit difficult for me to play SF4 without buttons. Wish they had a USB control pad for the iOS.

Thanks. I find those counters helpful because whenever I get burned by one, it changes my gameplan a little bit. Essentially, I can't continue with my pokes without taking a risk (pokes are a big part of my game).

I understand this view, but I'll probably stop playing if it gets to that point. There are ton of SF games that you can play with a controller. If they allow it for the iOS versions, some players will have a very significant advantage over the rest. I'm not buying a controller for my iPhone and I'm not hooking my iPhone up to my TV. I play the iOS version because it's easy to play anytime, simplified for old men like myself and is fun. If I want to use a controller, I'll get AE for PC or a console.

Updated the google docs to include gem sets. It shows all the gems for lv1 - lv5 sets when you first purchase them and when it's maxed out. I only listed the stock ones for the EX sets b/c no way in hell am I spending 100 gold to find out the rest.

I really don't think using a controller will matter as long as there is sp assist and one touch supers. If the game drops an input while you're trying to do a ex hadouken, you're screwed regardless if you're using a controller or not.

Oh and Capt, your math is a little bit off....

Controller + SP assist has the advantage. The controller dpad is just more accurate than the virtual one. Reason why we now have shortcuts to begin with.

...god forbid you get retard thumb placement like I do.

Honestly, how much precision do you need when all the motions in SFxT are pretty simple? The virtual pad is large enough to give you the accuracy you need. If you're, let's say, using Ryu and getting the tatsu (b+sp) instead of wanting to do donkey kick (db+sp), then it's just a matter of practice on your part. It's much like when being used to using a pad and switching to a stick, there's a transition period where you will need to get accustomed to the peripheral.

I believe the reason why SP assist exists is not so much because of accuracy, but to give an even footing for those that are just being introduced to fighting games. Can you imagine how bad most Zangiefs or Vipers would be in Volt if SP assist didn't exist?

Sure, let's say people are amazing at doing the inputs. There's the lag spike factor introduced when you play online. Whenever it happens, whatever motion you were doing will not be registered. So let's say you want to do a hadouken by doing d, df, f+p but there's a lag spike when you were doing d. The hadouken would not come out b/c it requires the down input. I'm sure people would be really pissed at that. I'm not sure if Capcom thought of this when implementing the SP button, but regardless, it was a good move on their part.

About the controls I agree with fffan7777. The SP button not only helps novice players, but also "fixes" the lag problem. I played some ranked battles without the SP button and without the Autoblock, and it was a pain. Everytime I tried to do a combo using a special the game didn't register it so I had to use simple combos with joystick+punch/kick, otherwise I would be defeated in no time.

Well it already exist unfortunately, and itd compatible with sfvolt and sfxt on a jailbroken phone. I don't think it would make that much difference on sfxt but definitely on volt. I won't put the name here cause I have been banned before for linking to a have where they were talking about it.
