The console version is riddled with time out victories, so the player using dhalsim likely runs away the whole match while chipping little pieces of damage here and there and gets the win on time out and i'm sure his secondary tag partner is of the same mold. It's not that dhalsim is any better than most believe him to be its that he has the ability to drain the very precious game clock.
just because he is number 1 doesnt mean he is the best, anyone can be number 1 with 100 consecutive wins and a high win ammount
yea most of the good combos include the level 2 charge but i also included the same combos starting with jump attack and some others using her abc combo so you can compare the difference. level 2 charge can be used for punishing the primary character on hard tag after it looses all its timer.
Sim has low stamina, does low damage, has very limited combos and is slow. Even his abc combo is horrible. I can't tell you how many times I've lined someone up for abc -> launcher only to watch the ab knock my opponent out of range. The c then whiffs and I get punished huge. Sim is also very fragile and trades a ton. I go back and forth between him and Hugo as a secondary, but Sim is very weak when his timer is up because opponents can mash almost any attack to trade if they hit his long standing punch. Also, his slide is just as weak as it was in Volt but his spear is so much weaker. I tried to main him but found him much clunkier than in Volt. I'd be very interested to see the Sim in the top 5 to see if there's something I'm missing.
Friend match differs in that you can play an opponent of your choosing (as long as they have also unlocked friend match).
Then why do we have the option to add some GC friends in the menu? I don't understand why Capcom did this...
I was looking around and I found out that rolento will be coming(all ready known) and also another character that there not talking about...possible heihachi? Or another character? http://m.joystiq.com/2012/10/17/street-fighter-x-tekken-mobile-gets-rolento-in-free-update-soon/
You main him in sfvolt right? Then I don't understand why I heard that. I could post the video but its in French... Maybe played with the right secondary is the thing. Or like squall said its just a question of a runaway game. God I can't wait to play you all, I'm stuck in my gameplay cause I only fight one good player out of 20 and when I do I don't want to play them too much as i loose all my coins. I played a guy called monkey something, he played like me ryu/Hugo and literally crushed me twice in 20 sec...
Yes, I mained Sim but toward the end did not play him much. I moved on to Abel and a few other characters. I also switched to SP off and that changed my game significantly (relied more on normals, etc.). Man, Sim was tough with SP off. Anyway, Sim can definitely be played well in this game but I think that as long as people know the matchup (which they don't right now, he is among the bottom tier. I played The Kush this morning and lost to his Sim. I honestly can't decide if he played great or if I was still waking up (it was ~7:30 am and it was my first match) and simply played horribly. It was probably a little of both. He did some things that I didn't expect or know were possible (such as cross art against a jump in while I was still in the air). Like you, I wanted to keep going but didn't want to lose my coins now that we're back to only 3. Also like you, my game is not improving at all and may be getting worse. I lost 5 straight last night for the first time ever, although I blame that more on my 4 beers than anything else. I may need to branch out from Kaz. He's so powerful but also can be so linnear. People just know the matchup so well since he's so common. I like Nina but I think she's a bit too complicated for me. I may try Paul a bit or maybe even give Sim another go.
ROLENTO IS COMING YAY!!!!!!! Who the f--- is this guy and I thought it was street fighter x tekken not street fighter x tekken x final fight Know he was coming but wanted to let people see that before they make hey did you know ROLENTO is coming 10 pages more. Sorry if it don't make sense had to rant now off to whip or get my butt whipped the game
Well, Rolento also appeared in some Street Fighter games before. Hugo and Poison are from Final Fight too.
I knew Hugo wasn't in SF and tekken kinda figured. Maybe add king of fighters in as well that would be fun
Hugo is a SF member since 1997 making his first appearance in SF3: 2nd Impact. Most of his moves (if not all of them) from that game have made it onto SFxT.
sp off dhalsim is just impossible to my opinion. You're very brave to play him like that, but it's almost sadomasochism. Ok so I went to listen again to the video I was talking about and it appears that the guy who has the double amout of bp from the second best in the world is not an unknow player i may say, it's tokido and he main dhalsim. that's on xbox360 from what the shoutcaster said, here is the video, i'm not sure if we can see him playing on that one but you maybe all interested anyway. It's in french though... by the way i don't know if you have goos shoutcaster for fighting game in the us but this guy is the best in france, he's doing it since the very beggining of the internet and he's ecellent of super street fighter IV. he comment the game as if it was a boxe match or something. You can't see his talent on that video cause he comment very few of sfxt but you can find other one on his channel, he also have a website. http://showprime.com/Ken_Bogard/3fuM0vUQTg8f http://kenbogard.fr ok i just found out some replay of him using dhasim, merry chrismas... by the way, those ones are in english. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xn2_1MbJDpc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3RecYhLM30 they must be more as they are from a tournement, the 25th annyversary of street fighter. enjoy
Oh well I find it intresting how they add fighters and don't add them like the guy with the rose on 3rd strike.
