I need to level up once again to unlock the expert level for the AI. Is expert the level of the bots that you fight online when the other player disconnects?
I'm pretty sure that it varies. Sometimes the AI is "good" and sometimes it's terrible. Expert level is good but still just the CPU.
I was asking that because every bot I fought online seemed to be better than the Hard AI level, but today one Ryu player disconnected and the bot almost beat me! It was challenging as hell.
Yup, I just unlocked the Expert mode yesterday. It's "better" than the Hard mode, but it's still not so challenging.
I'm new for the game, bought it at first day, got sometime to try it on. Some questions, hope you guys can help me out. 1. Why sometime I force to switch character, I'm 100% sure I didn't press the 'X', it usually give me very bad situation. 2. There are 3 bars on top of your screen, bottom 2 I know what is it, the very top & thin one what's it for? 3. I know I can change to a dark purple guy who combine my chars into one, what is this purple char's special? And how can I collect enough combo in order to activite it? 4. How to unlock expert mode? And secret char? 5. The trial is super crazy hard, most of mine are stuck on (8), any tips? Sorry so many questions, I like SF, but never play SFxTK on console, thank you!
1 & 2: you switch characters when you press the X button or when the thin bar empties. That bar is your second character's "life". 3. The character will heal himself and use the effect from the Pandora box you selected. 4. You need to level up playing ranked battles to unlock the expert mode and, well, everything. As far as I know, there aren't any secret characters. About SFxTK on console, both versions have different gameplay. The console version, for example, has 2 life bars for each character, but here you only have on real life bar and other "life" bar for your second character.
I'm guessing you have your second character out, his timer ran out and you either got chipped or hit. That will force him to leave and make your first character come in leaving you wide open for a huge combo. To prevent that from happening, try tagging out your second character earlier or land a launcher to tag in the other character. The button shows up when the timer runs out for your second character. It's not dependent on combo for it to show up. Once it's activated, the boost you get depends on the gem you are using. For immense power, you get more power; for iron wall, you take less damage; etc...
So here's a question: What is a good pandora box to use? It seems I've been seeing alot of Immense powers but then again what's the point in using something say proficiency where it just saves your cross gauge?
http://app.famitsu.com/20121017_100148/ New Character Rolento confirmed, along with 3 new modes under Global battle (not sure if it's new or something already exist and be unlocked by rank level, coz i'm only LV26 now.) For my understanding, 模擬試合 should be player match, 指名試合 should be GameCenter friendly match, 無双祭り should be Gauntlet mode. From the screen capture, there is also コメント送信, which means "submit comment"(what?) ETA of this free update is still unknown. =============================================== So, previous finding from fffan7777 seems true.
Good News! And Heiachi? I'm hoping capcom will add another characters or maybe this time we will have 1 chars for update!
This is all well and good, but where is the support for iphone 5 screen resolution? Playing with the black borders is really irritating.
