This has happened to me multiple times. Sometimes right after the v. screen, sometimes at the KO and much less often during the match. When it happens after the v. screen I get a black screen with the corcle appearing every 20-30 seconds. I waited over 5 minutes before hitting the home button but still got a loss and a disconnect on my record. Today I had the connection drop 3 times in 5 matches. I lost only 1 coin but got 3 losses and 3 disconnects. So annoyed with this online system.
capcom server sucks today! disconnects disconnects disconnects disconnects disconnects stupid update for gamecenter.
That was a fun game but no way am I near your level in this game haha. i ran out of coins anyway. I hate fighting noobs...its rare to fight good people online so i use up coins on them when i can I have other accounts so coins aren't a big deal
The whole idea of spending "coins" for playing against live opponents really turns me off. When I bought SF2 for the SNES, a big reason was so I wouldn't have to spend real coins at the arcade. Now, you get the arcade experience for free! The worst part of the arcade experience. If you win, do you keep your coin at least? That would make it more like IRL, when way back in the day I could spend hours at the SF2 machine on one quarter and Chun Li in my corner.
Same here. I only had one match today, and it was lagging so much that both me and the other player couldn't do any combo. That's saying a lot.
It was only for the weekend. In News (here is called Updates though...) Capcom said that the 2 bonus coins were only for 2 days.
loosing or disconnecting means you loose 1 coin wins = keep coins if loose 1 hour and 30 minutes later you regain that coin back for free
Well, I was only playing matches through training and arcade and those matches never gave me any exp, but today I tried again the coin system and after the match I got some exp. Now I'm level 4.
I don't mind it if they instituted friendly. I can usually go a couple hours on 3 coins but it really hurts new people trying the game. I have to say that 5 coins makes a lot more sense
I got like 200 wins and still level 12 Makes sense in a way, Capcom wants to give the newbies a chance to get hold of the pandora boxes before the Pro players do.
The reason I'm asking these questions is because I am (or was) seriously contemplating buying this game. You can only store a max of 5 coins? Or 3? Anyone here know if the controls on MvC have improved since release? That has online play, correct? Eh, I would probably be best off upgrading from KOF-i to KOF-i 2012.
