with king you just spam kick x 3... it's got huge range compared to all the normal chains in the game. The generic combo for king (as a tagged partner) is just up+k three times, then shining wizard.

Calvin Huang on volt BN is purporting that if you finish arcade mode in under 6 mins with Ryu you can buy akuma for 20g in the shop.

I don't know what to think about people who think they are additional characters in sfxt. No character files exist for other characters

Well... Ask him for a screenshot. That would be a terrible news if it was true. On top of that I don't get how you can beat the game in a certain amount of fights. You don't choose how many fights you need to do to beat the game do you?

I just played a lot on the consoles so I'm very familiar with the match ups especially at their most basic level with the iOS version being a really watered down console port. Also with everyone playing Ryu/Kaz or Ryu/Guile it makes wins that much easier to get, honestly don't pick a team because you see someone is winning with them because it has more to do with who is playing them as opposed to who they are playing. There is no "Sagat" in this game and what I mean by that is there is no one overpowered character because everything is based on how well you can work as a team.

King has a outstanding ABC kick chain that hits low and has great range, his jump in punch is also a excellent way to hit confirm his knees x3 into air grab for good damage, outside of that he's a pretty sub par character who relies on silly high low grab mix ups that are not very effective with the current mash happy play style on ranked right now. Hugo is nothing like Geif in terms of play style, Hugo has great normals and scary mix up game and it's all about keeping the opponent guessing on wake up but on the flip side his mobility is horrible and all the the links and high damage combos that made him terrifying in the consoles are missing or are too inconsistent to pull of in even the slightest lag. The best advice I can give you is not how to play this team but to hit the training room and learn your most damaging/beneficial options with whatever team you like.

Is this game more "noob-friendly" than SF4 volt? I ask because I had Sf4, but it was very hard for me to pull combos, even a simple hadoken ( sorry if I misspell it)...

Yep, it's crap. But crap sells. Especially on iOS.

Can anyone confirm for sure whether or not you can do friendly matches? There seems to be conflicting reports in this thread. There's a GC link to add friends within the game but I haven't tried it because I'm waiting on a friend to get the game too. Do friendly matches actually work somehow?

It's not a port, it's a new version of sfxt created on ios, it's very different to console version!

I dont like the online system in this game... I swear to god, Capcom always do this, they add stupid stuff to things that dont need it... what is the credit system for? It seems like a ploy to get more money out of DLC for SFXT Mobile... bad juju capcom

Ill be glad when they get rid of the buy credits system... It makes people afraid to retry... Plus They did an excellent job with SFIV and Volt, I hope they continue the successes and stop trying new shit

Exactly, this credit system is ruining the game! I'm losing fights but don't want to risk blowing all my credits rematching, so I always end game to try my luck with someone else.

...and talk about a long wait until the credits refill!

Lol, the credits don't affect me because I almost never lose a match. Not trying to sound cocky or anything.

So one of the 'tips' that popped up during the load screen said something along the lines of 'worried about your win/loss, do a player match'. Can't find any 'player match' though, so i dunno what the deal is.

Also ninas command grab hits crouching characters. Meaning her kkk target combo (on block) cancel into command grab is possibly unblockable, not sure how to test that though.

    Long time no see, Snooper!

No one knows how to unlock player match yet, it might not even be a feature right now.

As for testing stuff out, go to training mode, set the opponent as Nina and record the combo and test it that way.

I have no idea either. There was another tip that it mentioned EX Pandora Boxes that are only allowed in 2 player battles...
