I think Capcom's just reduced graphical detail for lower-grade devices. Sure, it's no excuse that they're ignoring the iPad 3 or iPhone 4S, but they're at least supporting the older devices. So props to them. As for the actual game, give it a shot. It's really exciting, and a lot of fun. Maybe not on the iPhone, but the PC or PS3 are good platforms to enjoy it on.
but still, there're devs like capcom.they don't think that they can earn "real" money by making ios game, they just do that for a little extra cash.the result is...well you guys already know
Well, iOS is just another platform to develop and publish games on, like the consoles or the PC. However, it's a ground where big-name publishers go up against small-time independent companies like Rovio. Publishers avoid it because it can end up being wasted assets on a game where everyone else just wants Angry Birds.
This time the title seems very similar to console version, 3d graphics and not prerendered models like sf volt, we can hope at least up to 20 chars to chose!
I respectfully disagree. They've made some quality titles over the years, and quite frankly, I don't see why you're posting on this thread f you have such a beef with the developers in the first place.
Well it seems like I'm the only one who's actually excited for this. Volt online was amazing, but it just got stale after a while without new content. Yes, the graphics could be better. And yes, I would've prefered if the whole tag system was the same as console versions. But still, I think I'll put a fair bit if time into multiplayer.
You kidding me? I'm extremely excited for this. The thought of taking this with me when I go to other countries is an awesome thought.
I'm definitely excited. I still love Volt but, despite not being able to walk away from it, I've had some serious burnout issues. I'm looking forward to seeing how this game is. I've never played the console version (or, aside from Volt, any fighting game since SFII) but will definitely be picking this up.
I'm just going to say that you're wrong about this statement, and leave it be. They make great games, but it's simple enough to say that you've got a vendetta against them that can't be explained. We don't care if you don't like the games, and we don't care about what you think of this game. Remember: it's the goddamn E3 build. It's old, and they weren't sure it would be made when they put it out there. It was an experiment they went through with. So calm down and stop complaining until they actually release something new about the game.
Like wise, I haven't played the console version but I'm excited about this release too. It does seem a lot of people are putting it down before giving it a chance.. My guess is we'll see a release at the end of July/ First week in August.
I mean no offence at all Sidgoku123, but you seriously need to stop comparing ios titles to PS2 all the time? This thread, the Spiderman thread, god knows how many other topics you've made the same comparions. If current iOS games developoment aren't doing it for you, I suggest sticking with consoles or more specifically...dust off your PS2.
Looks like Sid here had stooped as low as to PM me on Game Center, calling me a "disgustingly ugly ginger", and that "Capcom is an abortion of a game company". Way to stick to a good attitude. Even I would never target race.
What I am talking about is after I posted that, you sent me a request and confirmed someone else targeted me, and since you complained about Capcom often, I assumed it was you. I'm very sorry about that, you didn't send that message.
Played a bit of the PC version and looking forward to seeing how the chain combos work too with just P and K buttons. Imagine a few back and forward motions will make it work. Also hope there are more SF characters than Tekken.
King and kazzuya will be in the game, but I think that at the beginning only 10-12 chars will be available like street fighter 4!
