Confirmed to be coming out this September very soon via live stream. Also confirmed to only have 10 characters on release.
I bet we'll see the same ongoing 2 pack character updates like in SF4/Volt iOs...for now 10 is fine for getting to learn the system with. Looks very nice retina enabled and with the animated backgrounds, im sure my old A4 wont be able to handle this though. Also, i wonder whats with the "Shop" button...
7 minute video, and it looks great. Still looks slower paced than the Vita version, which is to be expected. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIifkmgbDdc&feature=youtube_gdata_player Look at the size of Hugo in the second bout!
The ComiCon one did, however. You might have to browse a few dozen pages back for that one, though. We've always been able to turn of SP assist.
Perhaps he meant to disable SP assist for both contestants in online games. This was at the very top of my wishlist for Volt, the option to reciprocally disable SP assist, health/ultra bar taps to perform supers and ultras and automatic guard, and the option filter online games by SP assist, simplified supers and ultras and auto guard off. With the long-standing competitive focus of the SF series, I'm actually surprised these options weren't included at launch. Perhaps Capcom never expected SFIV Volt to give rise to an e-sport community, but once this phenomenon became apparent (and the developers added the team and replay mechanics to help bolsters the online community), the above-mentioned options might have provided a very nice alternative for the truly hardcore.
I've got my fingers crossed for my mains, Elena and Juri. Juri might be tough to port to the iOS, since her skills demand flexibility. Her QCF+K can be held, so it's just a quick roundhouse, but you can release the projectiles later.
I find it interesting how in the mobile version you can chain and special cancel in the same combo. IE jab, chain strong and normal flash kick. In the console version you could only do an EX move after a chain attack.
It's nice to finally see a little Sim footage. Also, it looks like Guile got his sonic boom ultra. I can't imagine it could be worse than his ultra in Volt.
High kick>FK is a nice link. I hope they restored his upside down kick too, another nice combo starter..
This is going to be great. Hopefully no infinites to mess things up online. I hope volt gets this hd treatment.
