I know for a fact we are gonna hear something about this game this week and we might even get it this week. Why? Cause this week is gamescom and they have been show casing this game for the iOS since e3, so I'm 95% sure they will give us a date( or may release it) and or show off some of the new characters and features this week.
I doubt capcom will release the game before announcing a release date! Both street fighter 4 and volt were announced(1 month first I remember). Maybe this is the week capcom will announce new chars!!
Very good point I just assumed that cause capcom randomly gives out information just like sfxt for ps3 and 360. There would be times were they just randomly show cased new fighters even when a event wasn't happing. Though what you say is true( and honestly I can't remember capcom puting a game out with out a notice other than mvc2 for iOS, could be wrong) even when sf1 was coming out In the old days. I just have this weird feeling that it may come this week( just a thought) but like I said you can be completely right.
I don't remember but capcom announced mvc2 2 weeks first, it's not possible they release a game like sfxt randomly unless a date! If they say "release in summer" there will be some news in few time!
They just said something about the vita version I hope we hear some stuff today...capcom doesnt know how badly iOS players are waiting to hear something about this.
Wow.... They released a vita trailer showing what they showed off in the last vita trailer......they have the time to make a pointless trailer but don't have the time to tell us iOS players what to expect for our version of sfxt. Capcom please... We understand that the vita version is coming out with some sick features but stop milking it!!! We get the point!!! We are hyped for it so just leave it at that and start giving some info on sfxt iOS now! Atleast just tell us some of the progress you have made on it.
Remember, capcom is interested only in money, first it was a serious software house but now...they live only with the glory of the past titles, in particular street fighter!
But.. Summer is official date by capcom or it's only a rumor? Maybe Capcom is working on other titles!
It's certainly looking that way, i don't think it will release this summer given that they haven't given us any kind of news for well over a month. Maybe they're focusing all their efforts into the vita version first.
Beautiful game! But Fighters on ios are a disgrace and insult to the genre - mainly because lack of input. It would be more alluring if they made some remote attempt to adapt these games to the platform, and drop the virtual joysticks...
