Is it already known how many characters there will be at launch? I think I remember Street Fighter's rooster was pretty limited at launch, right?
Next week we'll have for sure the release date, 1 month and a little bit and the summer is over! The roster will be for sure 10 chars, I've seen the video im the previous page and in the selection screen there are 10 chars plus 2 ?!1
I'll take your word for it No, in all seriousness, I hope yer right (in your SECOND quote above ), for I can hardly think of any title but Prevail that I look forward to as much as Street Fighter X Tekken. The wikipedia page I posted on the previous page also lists 10 characters as confirmed, but there's not telling if it is up to date, based on the video or another source, or even correct in the first place. Only comprehensive list I've seen so far, and it seems to correspond to the video, so I suppose it might be slightly better than nothing Now THAT would be an example of imbalanced, pay-to-win IAP
I wish they showed a little Sim action on the video. Anyway, did he say it will or won't be like $6 or $7? I thought he said it will be pretty cheap, not like $6 or $7.
Seriously if they release this game with only 10 chars, thats definitely going to dampen the spirit... Im a big street fighter fan and couldnt wait to get my hands on the first sf4 for ios but the lack of chars and online multiplayer really let the game down imo...and in the end the love was short lived, about 6 weeks tops before i deleted it. It wasnt until volt that i regained excitement again, it was what sf4 ios should have been in the first place.. So much so that even a year on, i still play it almost daily.
Was that primarily for the additional characters, or the online multiplayer? At least SF X Tekken will launch with online multiplayer, so luckily, for those of us who value the online mode, the comparison to the original SFIV for iOS might not be entirely representative
Ha, that would be funny as a flash game maybe...an EVO all stars fighter. I can already picture Dieminion doing FKs in his Broken Tier shirt. I am getting antsy to play this game soon!
It's better than nothing, maybe the video shows a demo of the final game with 10 characters but it's strange Capcom didn't announce new characters in these days and the release date is not far! The first sf4 had 8 characters!
Will this game possible to play on 3gs without lag? Im thinking if buying kof12 or just w8 for this instead.what do u think guys?
Both Maybe, but Capcom should be aiming to improve on what they have not give us the same or rather something lacking. The way I see it, we've had decent fighters on iOS recently which proves the mechanics work... Volt showed us we could get more than 8 chars!! plus online multiplayer...MVC2 although failed in the graphics and controls department, it had a whopping 56 chars!...SNK brought out KOF-i 2012 with 32 chars AND online play! Yes, I know SFxT mobile will be 3Dish, but i doubt the current game engine and A5 chips makes it an impossible task to include a roster greater than 10 plus online play. I'm just hoping Capcom are saving the rest of the line up for release.. a nice surprise for us all.
Don't rely on capcom mobile like that.. They would never do such thing. Also it is more than possible to bring the whole roster. idevices, especially the 4s and iPad 3 can do much more, just look at Gameloft's The Dark Knight Rises.
